Last year you couldn't bring any food in the festival area proper, but of course you could do it at the camping.
Since Marcel won't be a the camping, I'l gladly take his part |

They weren't replaced by just any doom band but by one of the godfathers of traditional doom. Although I do see your point why replace a flwery power metal band by a traditional doom band, same goes for replacing Nachtmystium by a stoner band |
