After the confirmation of the European tour dates a couple of weeks ago, Lacuna Coil this time announce a headlining North America tour, which will be executed this September/October. This will be the second run of dates on this album cycle (Broken Crown Halo) in the U.S. and Canada for them. Devil You Know will be supporting Lacuna Coil on the entire tour and Starset are also appearing from Sept. 23rd - Oct. 12th except Oct. 7th and 8th, where Unlocking The Truth will join for those two nights. Up and coming Canadian band Incura have also been added to all Canadian shows.

Lacuna Coil have chosen today to announce the title and release date of their new album. The suspense is over and Broken Crown Halo has been revealed to be the title of their new record, expected on April 1st, 2014 in North America (March 31st in Europe, Australia, New Zealand) via Century Media Records. The album is the band's seventh studio effort, and the follow-up to Dark Adrenaline.
Lacuna Coil were supposed to take part in the 2014 ShipRocked Cruise, the rock music cruise, in January but the band has cancelled their appearance due to "very serious personal family matters". At this point, the group has already completed the recording of their new album to follow Dark Adrenaline and the new opus is expected to be released next year.
The new Lacuna Coil album is in the works, folks. The band is currently in the studio working on what will be the follow-up to Dark Adrenaline. The Italians have recently started recording their upcoming album with producer Jay Baumgardner, who has previously worked with P.O.D, Sevendust, Evanescence and Papa Roach.
Lacuna Coil's vocalist Cristina Scabbia announced today that former bandmate and guitarist Claudio Leo, who played with the band from 1995-1998 (including a performance on the band's demo under the moniker Ethereal and the 1998 self-titled EP) has passed away. The cause of death was not disclosed and no other information was offered so far.
