Shining have released a video teaser for an arthouse documentary featuring frontman Niklas Kvarforth, entitled "Cold Void". The founder of the Swedish black metal act is the focal point of the new movie. The documentary "tries to capture a personal portrait of Niklas Kvarforth, who has made headlines that have involved addiction, suicide and self-destruction, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, passion, and exceptional musicianship." Sepultura have their own documentary, "Sepultura Endurance", and it's finally going to premiere on Sunday, May 21st in Los Angeles at the Regent Theater beginning at 1 PM, PT, following a Q&A with members of the band. The documentary shares the band's evolution since the beginning as it showcases an in-depth look over the years including archival footage and interviews with Metallica's Lars Ulrich, Anthrax's Scott Ian, as well as younger artists influenced by the band, like Slipknot's Corey Taylor. The German metallers have set Der Rote Reiter (English: The Red Rider) as the title of their tenth studio album, to be released in the summer of 2017. The band has also revealed the cover as well as the tracklist of the new album. Vocalist Fuchs, who has also drawn the artwork of the last album, has created the cover artwork for the upcoming album which you can see here. As template for the artwork a wooden relief from 2016 was used, which he created.
