Long Distance Calling - Premiere New Video

By now, you might have heard Trips, Long Distance Calling's new album. It was released back in April and now the Germans have premiered a brand new video for the instrumental track "Trauma". The band will embark on a German 'An Evening With' headline tour this December which will see them focusing on the instrumental side of the band's sound including a lot of older material. Ayreon - Floor Jansen, Hansi Kürsch, Guthrie Govan Among New Album Guests

Judging by the guests announced so far, it looks like Ayreon's new album will be stellar. In the last few days, mastermind Arjen Anthony Lucassen has been revealing some of the guests. You can start discovering more about the album today. Guitarist Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson) is the latest confirmation. He will be doing a guitar solo on the new album and so will Paul Gilbert. Furthermore, Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian, Floor Jansen of Nightwish, Simone Simons of Epica, Tommy Rogers of Between The Buried And Me, James LaBrie (Dream Theater) and Michael Mills of Toehider will all sing on the record.

Septicflesh - New Album Update, Coming In 2017

The follow-up to Titan is dropping next year and the Greeks Septicflesh are about to record it. The symphonic extreme metallers recently updated on the new album process. The band will record once again with the Filmharmonic Orchestra of Prague on the 18th and 19th of December as part of their next album (due late spring 2017). Guitarist and award winning classical composer Christos Antoniou has already collaborated with the Czech orchestra for the three previous Septicflesh releases: Communion (2008), The Great Mass (2011), and Titan (2014).
