Epica - Another New Song Online

Dutch symphonic metal act Epica has been uploading teasers of the new song "Monopoly On Truth" over the past weeks, adding a new layer of music with each upload. Now the final layer has been added and the complete song can be heard in the video below. "Monopoly On Truth" comes off Epica's new effort Requiem For The Indifferent, to be released on March 9th in Europe and March 13th in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.

Barren Earth - Four Songs From New Album Streaming Online

Inferno.fi is streaming four new songs from Finnish progressive/melodic death metallers Barren Earth's upcoming new album The Devil's Resolve, namely the first four songs of the album, "Passing Of The Crimson Shadows", "The Rains Begin", "Vintage Warlords" and "As It Is Written". The band's new album will hit stores in North America on March 13th, Japan and Finland on March 7th and the rest of Europe on March 12th via Peaceville Records. Trail Of Tears - Announce New Drummer

Norwegian gothic metallers Trail Of Tears have announced Bjørn as the new drummer in the band, replacing Cato Jensen who left the band recently, with the following short post on their Facebook page: "Trail Of Tears is very happy to welcome our new drummer Bjørn to the family!"

Resurrected - Vocalist And Drummer Leave The Band, Replacements Announced

German death metallers Resurrected have announced the departure of vocalist and founding member Carsten Scholz and drummer Hazim Fouad from the band. The band made the following announcement: "Time to tell some news next to the EP recordings from the RR-headquarter: After his long lasting disease our vocalist Carsten is still not healthy enough to do any live shows in the future so he decided to retreat in order not to constrain the band's live ambitions."

Bolt Thrower - Announce Boltfest Special Guests

British death metallers Bolt Thrower have finally announced the special guests for their 25th anniversary show in April. Also, 200 extra balcony tickets will be made available for the show and can be purchased here starting on March 7th.

The band posted the following message on Boltfest's official website: "We are very chuffed to announce the bands joining us at our Birthday Bash are: Autopsy, Discharge, Benediction & Vallenfyre. Death - Entire Vivus! Live Album Streaming Online

Vivus!, the latest two-CD deluxe live album from US death metal legends Death is now streaming online in its entirety at this location. The live album features two separate Death concerts recorded in 1998. Disc one features the band performing at the Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles and disc two is a recording of the band playing at Dynamo Open Air.

Vivus! was released on February 28th in North America and March 2nd in the Benelux/Germany. The album is due out March 5th in the UK and rest of Europe and follows the recent Relapse Records re-issues of Individual Though Patterns, The Sound Of Perseverance and Human.

"Time To Breathe", the new video from British heavy metallers/rockers Eden's Curse is now available for streaming below. It was filmed at Sky Park in Glasgow, Scotland, at the end of January with director Simon Jake Gillespie of Music Video Scotland. Suffocation - Drummer Mike Smith Parts Ways With The Band

Drummer Mike Smith has reportedly parted ways with US death metallers Suffocation. He posted the following message on his website: "There are not many things related to the Suffocation brand I can honestly say brings me sadness. Except, the lack of pride that exists within those who have the 'right' to claim the name as their own. This battle has been one that to any focused being, should make obvious sense but has evaded some for 2 decades. Within any foundation the weakest link will always cause all structure to crumble."
