Children Of Bodom - To Enter Studio Next Year

As bands usually do at the end of each year, Children Of Bodom have looked back at what happened, but through the eyes of drummer Jaska Raatikainen. He has given a year wrap-up where he talks about his severe back pain and also the Finns next record to follow I Worship Chaos. Their plan is to start writing it next year and then recorded it in the fall.

Voivod - Launch New Video Clip

After completing a European tour together with Century Media Records label-mates Entombed A.D., Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators Voivod are wrapping up a busy year of promoting their latest Mini-CD release entitled Post Society by launching a promotional video clip for its title track. Horizon Ablaze - Recording New Album

After the writing sessions, Norwegian death metallers Horizon Ablaze are currently in recording mode. The band has been in Strand Studio and the recording is almost done! 2014's Dødsverk was the band's last album. Not many details are known so far about the next album but Kjell Åge Meland will be doing the artwork for it. Kjell Åge did the art for the previous records Dødsverk and Spawn.

Suicide Silence - Reveal New Album First Details

Deathcore act Suicide Silence recently revealed the first details of their new album. The opus will be self-titled and the song titles have been unveiled now. The self-titled record will see a February 24th release date via Nuclear Blast and will also be the band's second album since the death of vocalist Mitch Lucker. Eddie Hermida stepped in as their frontman and Suicide Silence will reportedly feature 70% clean vocals.

Ross The Boss - New Lineup Revealed

The new lineup of Ross The Boss, the band led by former Manowar and current Death Dealer guitarist Ross "The Boss" Friedman, will perform at the Hall Of Heavy Metal History induction ceremony on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 at the Anaheim Expo Center in Anaheim, California. Joining Friedman in the group's incarnation are Symphony X bassist Mike LePond, former Manowar drummer Kenny "Rhino" Earl and Let Us Prey vocalist Marc Lopes.

Vektor - Three Members Leave, Band To Continue

The end of the year hasn't been kind to thrashers Vektor. After releasing the excellent Terminal Redux album this year, three members of the band, guitarist Erik Nelson, drummer Blake Anderson and bassist Frank Chin have quit the group, leaving guitarist/vocalist and founding member David DiSanto all to himself. The frontman vows to continue.

The fest Psycho Las Vegas 2017 is set to take place from August 18th through August 20th, 2017 at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada and recently announced over thirty-five new additions to its massive 2017 lineup. Headliners remain to be announced, but joining previously-announced Neurosis, Swans, and French prog lords Magma, comes UK legends Carcass, Abbath, Myrkur, Wolves In The Throne Room, Weedeater, Buzzov?en and Chelsea Wolfe.
