One Machine - New Video Online

The official One Machine video for the song "Forewarning" from their new album The Final Cull can be seen below. The clip was directed and edited by Scott Canty of Dark North Media. The Final Cull will be out in September 18th. One Machine is the brainchild of former Nevermore and Testament guitarist Steve Smyth.

The Ocean - Announce Split EP With Mono

German sludge metallers from The Ocean just announced the upcoming release of a split EP with post-rock giants Mono. The EP will be titled Transcendental and contain one new song by each band, 13-minutes long "The Quiet Observer" by the Germans and 11-minutes long "Death In Reverse" by the Japanese. The worldwide release date for the EP is set to October 23rd via Pelagic Records.

Ghost - Debut New Music Video

With Meliora released to the masses, Ghost begin a North American tour this month followed by dates in Europe. In between their busy schedule, the Swedes had time to film a new music video for the tune "From The Pinnacle To The Pit". Onslaught - New Guitarist Joins Ranks

U.K. thrashers Onslaught have recruited guitarist Iain GT Davies as the full-time replacement for absentee Andy Rosser Davies. Despite the new band member, it's not a complete split and Andy will remain part of the team behind the scenes and will be contributing material to the next record. Communic - Announce Debut Album Anniversary Show

While Communic haven't released a new album in a while, the progressive metallers will be celebrating their past this year. They are playing a 10th anniversary concert at Buen, Mandal, Norway on December 5th. It is now 10 years since the trio released their debut album Conspiracy In Mind. To celebrate this event with a special concert on December 5th 2015, the band will be accompanied by several guests who join them on stage and will make the concert something special. This will be a close to 2 hours long concert in their hometown of Mandal, Norway.

Iron Maiden - Announce First Tour Dates, Dickinson Demoed Solo Songs

Today there is both news from Iron Maiden as well as its singer Bruce Dickinson solo band. Dickinson has revealed that he has already demoed six songs for his new solo album. It's the first update about his solo project in 10 years and since latest album Tyranny Of Souls (2005). Avantasia - Singers Geoff Tate And Michael Kiske On New Album

Two more singers have been confirmed as guests on the new Avantasia record in the works. On January 29th, the band's 7th studio album Ghostlights will hit the stores. After Jørn Lande, other guest stars have been announced: Operation: Mindcrime vocalist Geoff Tate as well as former Helloween and current Unisonic vocalist Michael Kiske. Michael Kiske will not only appear on the album, he will also join Avantasia on the Ghostlights world tour 2016.

Epica - Cancel Four North American Shows

After announcing that keyboardist Coen Janssen would sit out their upcoming North American tour, Epica have more bad news for their fans. The Dutch band has been forced to cancel a few of their shows on this tour, in Quebec City, Toronto, Chicago, and Minneapolis. The band promises an update soon but unfortunately, Simone Simons has to deal with a serious situation in her close family.

Nunslaughter - Drummer Suffers Stroke, Crowdfund Campaign Launched

The drummer of the very prolific Nunslaughter, Jim "Sadist" Konya, has recently suffered a stroke while he was at work and was admitted to the hospital. A crowdfunding campaign was also launched to help Konya pay for his future medical bills. The campaign doubled its goal in less than 24 hours and is still active here. According to the recent updates on Nunslaughter's Facebook page, Konya is in stable condition and is making progress in his recovery. Follow the band's Facebook for updates on his recovery.
