Black Majesty - New Album Title Revealed, Confirmed For Black Sun Festival

Australian Power Metal band Black Majesty have announced a title for their soon to be released new album. The album will be called 'Tomorrowland'. The new album will be released through their German label Limb Music Products.

Black Majesty have also been announced as part of the Metal Universe Black Sun Festival in Slovakia which happens 20-21/7/2007. Other confirmed bands for the festival include Masterplan, Blind Guardian and Alkehol. Black Majesty will be on tour in Europe throughout July and August where they will be playing live shows and doing promomotion for the new album.

Black Majesty - Confirmed For Masters Of Rock 2007

Power Metal band Black Majesty have been added to the Masters Of Rock Open Air Festival 2007 billing. Other bands that have already been confirmed include: Motorhead, Rage, Stratovarius, Die Happy, After Forever, Epica and Silent Stream of Godless Elegy. The festival is set to take place on the 13th-15th July 2007, in the Czech Republic.

Majesty - Sign To Magic Circle Music

Germany's Majesty have signed with Magic Circle Music, home to Manowar and Rhapsody Of Fire. The label has issued the following statement through their newsletter:

"Magic Circle Music announced that they have signed German heavy metal act Majesty to an exclusive management agreement. Majesty was formed in 1997 and has released five albums, with 2006's Hellforces being the most recent release. Fronted by vocalist/songwriter Tarek Maghary, the current Majesty line-up comprises guitarists Christian Münzner and Björn Daigger, bassist Marcus Bielenberg and drummer Michael Gräter.

Majesty is a talented and most promising addition to the Magic Circle Music client roster. The world's premier true heavy metal label continues to grow!

Majesty - Announce New Guitarist

The German power metallers Majesty have announced Christian Münzner as replacement for their former guitarist Rolf Munkes. Münzner, who parted ways with his former band Necrophagist in February, already performed his first show with Majesty on May the 6th in Berlin. Majesty - Guitarist Leaves

Majesty have parted ways with guitarist Rolf Munkes. He has posted the following message on his official website :

Hi Friends, today I can tell you that I'm not any longer the guitar player in Majesty. The Band and me agreed in stopping to work together from now on.
I wish them the best of luck in the future and want to say thanks for the great time we had. And a big thanks goes out to all the fans that we made over these three years I played with Majesty. You made it happen!! Thank you.

Elixir - Sign With Majesty Rock

The UK band Elixir signed a deal with label Majestic Rock, The label will release Elixir's upcoming album "Mindcreeper" and will re-issue their previous catalogue in July.

Infernal Majesty - New Track Available To Download

Canada's Infernal Majesty have posted the demo version of the title track for their forthcoming album "Systematical Extermination" online at the Van City Bands website. You can download the track from this link:

Infernal Majesty is best-known for their debut album "None Shall Defy," which gained them cult status throughout the world of thrash. They have been a major influence on both the thrash and black metal scenes, with Swedish black-metallers Dawn covering their seminal classic "Night of the Living Dead." "Systematical Extermination" marks the debut of new vocalist Brian Langley. Recording will continue in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. No release date has been set at this time.

Infernal Majesty - Drop Off Satyricon Tour

Canada's Infernal Majesty, whose 1987 album "None Shall Defy" has gained cult status in the underground, have dropped off the North American tour in support of Norway's Satyricon citing personal reasons.

The following message was posted on the band's website (http://www.infernalmajesty.ca):
"Due to personal reasons Infernal Majesty have had to cancel the Satyricon US tour, 3 Inches of Blood will now be the direct support for the tour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Infernal Majesty is currently supporting their 2004 release "One Who Points to Death"
Satyricon is supporting their 2002 release "Volcano" which was released domestically in North America for the first time in 2004.

Infernal Majesty - Sign With Black Lotus Records

Long-running Canadian thrashers INFERNAL MAJESTY have inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records for the release of their latest album, "One Who Points To Death". Black Lotus Records will have the exclusive distribution rights for Europe, Asia and Oceania while the North American release is being handled by Canada's Galy Records.

"One Who Points to Death" was recorded by Sho at Profile Sound Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and was mastered by Pierre Remillard at Wild Studios in St-Zenon, Quebec, Canada. The 47-minute CD is "packed with old school thrash crunch and modern death metal intensity," according to an official press release.

INFERNAL MAJESTY will be on tour starting June 19 in Victoria B.C. Below is the current itinerary for the tours. City and venue information and exact dates will be added shortly.
