Oranssi Pazuzu - New Project With Dark Buddha Rising, To Release Album

The awe-inspiring Finnish metal psychedelicists Oranssi Pazuzu and their Tampere cohorts Dark Buddha Rising, known for their grandiose slug-paced ritualist doom metal, have recorded a new full length album, to be released worldwide via Svart Records on April 5th, 2019. Syntheosis will be released under the project Waste Of Space Orchestra. A short album teaser is also available for streaming.

Dark Buddha Rising - Postpone Release Date Of New EP, Trailer Online

Dark Buddha Rising - Unveil New EP Details

After promising a new release for next year, the Finns Dark Buddha Rising have revealed all the details about it. The black gates that Dark Buddha Rising opened a decade ago with I open further in 2018, as the band announces the II EP, due for release via Neurot Recordings on 23rd March 2018. As they prepare to start off their European tour, the Finns Dark Buddha Rising, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, have now announced that they are preparing a new release to follow 2015's Inversum. The drone doom metallers promise more news soon about their next release which will arrive on Neurot Recordings in early 2018.

Rising - Share New Track, Album Details

Rising are back with a new line-up and a new album, titled Oceans Into Their Graves. To follow Abominor, the Danish sludge metallers have debuted a taste from the new record, the album-opener "All Dirt". Indisciplinarian, the label founded by Rising guitarist Jacob Krogholt, will release Oceans Into Their Graves digitally and on 180-gram black virgin vinyl on April 29th, with Earsplit Distro exclusively handling the vinyl for North America.

Rising - Reveal New Lineup, To Record New Album

Rising are back! It's been two years since the former line-up broke up and the future seemed uncertain. Now, after two years of consistent writing and working, the sludge metallers from Denmark can present the new Rising line-up and their plans for the near future. They will record their yet untitled third album in August and September and it is expected to be released in the spring of 2016.

Rising - Complete New Album, Two Members Leave

After spending the last few months recording their second album, Danish sludgers Rising have recently updated fans and revealed that Abominor will be the title of the new album. On the downside, Jacob Johansen and Henrik Hald have also left the band leaving Jacob Krogholt apprehensive about the future of the band. To Solemn Ash, their last album, was released in 2011.

Bethlehem - Cancel Performance At Black Metal Is Rising VII Festival

German sun-avoiders Bethlehem had to cancel their scheduled performance at Black Metal Is Rising VII in Paris this weekend due to an injury. The band's bassist Jürgen Bartsch underwent surgery and is still recovering from it, but the band promises to reschedule the date.

Rising - Two New Tracks Streaming Online

Denmark's sludge metal three-piece Rising has just posted two new tracks on their MySpace site. These are the first pieces of music from the band since 2009's critically acclaimed self titled debut EP, and the two tracks are from a forthcoming 7-inch vinyl to be released on Red Tape on November 29th. The two tracks "Legacy of Wolves" and "Daughter of The Sun" displays an even fiercer and aggressive side of the band than heard on their debut EP.

Rising's debut EP will finally be released as a vinyl, also on November 29th and hereby mark a simultaneous release of the 7" and the EP. The German based metal/punk-label Pain of Mind will be the label for the EP vinyl edition, which will be a 12" in a limited edition of 500 ex, of which 150 are white vinyl. Both vinyl releases will be available through Rising's MySpace, the labels and various mail orders and record dealers throughout the world.

Rising have since the release of their self titled debut EP had a high level of activity: A nomination at the Danish Metal Awards 2009 as "Best New Talent", two European tours and one Irish tour in 2010 as well as shows in Sweden and their native homeland of Denmark including a performance at this year's Roskilde Festival. Apart from releasing the forthcoming new 7" vinyl and the 12" EP vinyl edition, Rising is hard at work writing their debut album to be recorded in March/April next year and released on a yet undisclosed German label in September 2011.
