Trivium is currently holed up in a house in Austin, Texas working on the band's sixth and yet untitled album (the fifth for Roadrunner). The band's latest release was In Waves back in 2011. Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto also recently confirmed that David Draiman of Disturbed is producing the album.

As hinted last month, progressive metal giants Dream Theater are touring North America later this year in support of the upcoming A Dramatic Turn of Events together with Roadrunner Records labelmates Trivium.

You can find the first batch of dates below (with more to be announced shortly).

Said Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci: "We are all very pumped about the release of A Dramatic Turn of Events this September, as well as the world tour we'll embark upon in support of the album. ""Inception Of The End" is a song that has been with us since 2009," reveals lead vocalist/guitarist Matt Heafy. "For "Inception," we have been able to slowly craft it over the spanning demos and years to shape it into the song it is today. "Inception" was one of the first songs written for the album and like all the songs on In Waves, was a labor of love... and we're beyond excited about the final product."
