In conjunction with the Relapse Contamination Tour, a special 4-way split release featuring two tracks from all four bands will be available on tour, in stores and is currently up for pre-order.

Enslaved's drummer since 2003, Cato Bekkevold is calling it quits. He would like to spend more time with his daughter, and he is not perfect physically for drumming in the band anymore. His last show will be at Hellfest 2018 in France. The band has not announced a replacement yet, but Cato mentioned Iver Sandøy as a future drummer in his video announcing his retirement.

Hailing from Québec, Canada, Demilichian death metallers Chthe'ilist have announced a limited edition 7" EP Passage Into The Xexanotth through Profound Lore. The title track was written before the Le Dernier Crépuscule recording. The second track will be a cover of cult Swedish death metal band Crematory's "Beneath The Crypts". The EP will be released next Friday, June 15th, limited to 500 physical copies and digital streaming.

After LoG of the trve kvlt lands of the Åland Islands stated that the formula for Radu's ratings in his reviews is "-1", and that if he reviewed Four Phantoms by Bell Witch and gave it a 10, it would've been the correct rating.

After some discussion in the MS shoutbox, Radu challenged Lucifer to a rap battle. LoG said he would lose that battle, and Radu shared that he was ready to drop a diss track.
