Tvangeste - To Enter Studio In March 2007

Tvangeste: Latest Metal News

Fresh news about "Satori" recording:

At last we got a certain information about the recording date! March 20 is the day Tvangeste will enter the studio to record new material. Unfortunately there were no chances to schedule any earlier time because of the line of bands waiting for their turn. Recording session will take place at three European studios. Studio time is booked so there is no retreat, no surrender!

Album will be mixed by Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) at his Los Angered in Goeteborg / Sweden - at the moment we are negotiating the mixing time.

One more feature of the new album is our collaboration with pretty female singer Gaby Koss (ex-vocalist of HAGGARD). So prepare for a magic chants performed by one of the most talented vocalist on this Planet!

Ever yours, Tvangeste team

Trail Of Tears - Now Recording New Material

Hello people!

As of today, Saturday 24th June, the recording of the new album 'Existentia' is officially underway! Jonathan and Runar are currently finding themselves poolside in sunny and beautiful Marseille, more spesifically in Soundsuite Studio with producer Terje Refsnes in charge!

We will start tracking the drums this weekend, followed by the guitars. Ronny and Kjell will join shortly and will be accompanied by multi-musician wizard Bernt Moen, who will be in charge of orchestrations and choirs for the album. You are all in for one hell of a treat in that department!

We are very confident about the songs we carry with us! There will be 10 songs featured on the end result, with possible bonus material for certain territories, limited editions and so on. The material is as always diverse and heavy, though we feel that this is by far the catchiest stuff we have ever written. Can't wait to pack it all into a suitable production and share the result with all of you guys and girls out there!

Keep checking back for studio updates with comments and photos as the recording progresses. Cheers!

Sirenia - Studio Time Booked

Studios Booked!
We will start the recordings of our new album on the 17th of July. We have chosen a somewhat different solution this time, and will record altogether in 3 different studios. This is a solution that we feel can add something new and different to our sound, as well as keeping the essential basics of Sirenia. First we will track the drums in Jailhouse studios in Norway with engineer Hans Eidsgard, then we proceed to Sound Suite Studios in France to record everything else, together with Terje Refsnes. And finally we will mix and master the album at Antfarm studios in Denmark with Tue Madsen. We look forward to work with Hans and Tue for the first time, and of course we are eager to work with Terje again, who's been a part of our team for many years. The recordings will be completed the 1st of October.

New drummer:
Finally it is time to announce that Ivar Alver has joined the band, and will be our permanent drummer from now on. It took us a while but we now feel sure that we have found the right person. We would also like to thank everyone who has contacted us regarding the drummer position.

New album:
We have been working on new material for a while and with Ivar behind the drums things have started to take shape. If things go as planned we will enter the studio late this fall, and the new album will be released early next year.

To-Mera - Begin Recording Debut

May 5, 2006

...well, we start tomorrow, but we're pretty excited about it

Brett (Caldas-Lima - Mr producer man (add him here) will be winging his way from the slums of Montpellier to spritely Surbiton tomorrow. I shall hide all valuables as he will be staying at my place... (only joking Bretty-poos! )

First on the agenda will be recording a new violin solo for "Dreadful Angel" and then Brett, Julie and Tom will fly to Hungary to meet up with Akos and they'll then record all their bits. Then in the first week of June they all come back and Hugo and Lee will do their bits.

Songs so far include the two demo songs on the page (re-worked), plus "Parfum", "Blood" (working title. This may change!), "Realm of Dreams", "Phantoms", "Obscure Oblivion" plus a re-working of a traditional Hungarian folk song. About 50 minutes in total all going well.

We will be keeping things up to date with the blog, so if you need progress as it happens then subscribe or come back every couple of days and you'll see events as they unfold.

Cheers guys!

Destroyer 666 - Updates

24 / 4 / 2006 Transmission IV

Returned now somewhat intact from the Whisky and Wrath Tour. No tour report, you were either there or you were'nt. No vicarious thrills here I'm afraid. But in short, fucking Killer! Only a one or two quiet shows throughout the whole 18 shows.

Revenge were great to tour with. Fine folk. Folk whose actions reflect clearly there lyrics, image and stance. An honour and pleasure for all in D666. Our thanks to all the maniac wild wolves and foxes who made it out to the shows to support the tour. We are truly indebted to you. We know its been a long time since our last release, so to recieve so much continued support is a humbling experience.

And finally on that front, our thanks to Steve and Shaky Axel for a massive effort in the face of sometimes dispiriting obstacles. For those who asked, yes, we are working on a new album which we hope to record after the US/Mexico/Sth America Assault both of which are planned for late in the year. Dates will be posted when confirmed.
