Phlebotomized - Introduce New Vocalist

Dutch prog death metal veterans Phlebotomized have announced their new vocalist. The band welcomes Ben de Graaff (Night Of Suicide, Sepiroth) to their family as the new frontman. Mastodon - Announce Co-Headline Tour With Clutch

The Gentle Storm - Premiere First Track Online

After much anticipation and curiosity, you can finally listen to a song from The Gentle Storm, the new band with Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Guilt Machine) and Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering, Devin Townsend). They are set to release the debut album The Diary on the 23rd of March 2015 through Inside Out Music, and now have revealed the first music to be taken from the record. Aussies Rise Of Avernus have revealed their new line-up. With a reinvigorated and focused group of musicians, the band is ready to release their new material and live show upon the world as they tour internationally for the first time throughout 2015. They also announced the departure of their guitarist Matthew Bell. Due to his commitments with his other projects which require his full-time dedication, Matthew can no longer be a full-time member of Rise Of Avernus.

Manes - Confirmed For Dark Bombastic Evening 2015

The Norwegian avantgardists Manes, who finally released a new album last year, Be All End All, have been confirmed for the Dark Bombastic Evening 2015. It seems like Transylvania will be the place to be this summer as Agalloch and Shape Of Despair will also perform at the festival in August 2015 in Alba Iulia, Romania.

Well, now the Italians have started the recordings for the successor to Second World (2012). The band has checking in now with an update. They are working at the Outer Sound Studios. Witchfest Festival - Forced To Change Venues After Religious Protests

A South African metal festival, Witchfest Festival Open Air 2015, has been forced to switch venues reportedly after complaints from a local Christian group. The festival is set to feature big names such as Epica, Cannibal Corpse, Septicflesh, Decapitated, Alestorm, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Kataklysm, Belphegor, Aborted, Hatebreed and more in April. It's self-proclaimed as the biggest metal festival ever to take place on African soil. Witchfest was due to take place on farmland in the North West Province town of Hartbeespoort from April 2nd-6th. But it's been moved to Lanseria, midway between Pretoria and Johannesburg. The organizers promise they will not give in to the protests.

Testament - In The Studio

Thrashers Testament are back in the studio! The follow-up to Dark Roots Of Earth released back in 2012 is finally shaping up. Vocalist Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson are demoing new material and have shared the first photos from the process. The new album will feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio, who returned to the band after the departure of Greg Christian. Their next record is expected to be released this year.

Soilwork - Releasing First DVD/Blu-Ray, Details Announced

Back in March 2014, Soilwork performed a special show at Circus Club in Helsinki, Finland. Now they have announced the release of their anticipated first ever live DVD/Blu-ray, Live In The Heart Of Helsinki on March 13th, 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records.
