Iron Angel - Introduce New Member, Writing New Album

German veterans Iron Angel have announced line-up changes in their ranks. After five years, they have parted ways with guitarist Mitsch Meyer. The eptied spot will be taken by Nino Helfrich. In other news, Iron Angel confirmed that they are currently in the middle of the writing process for the next studio album, due sometime in 2020.

The group states: "A lot has been going on in the Iron Angel camp during the last couple of months and now it is time for us to finally break the silence… After a five-year-stint and countless live shows all over the world, we decided to part ways with Mitsch Meyer. He has been a vital part of the band and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors.

"But we have found a more than suitable replacement and would like to officially welcome Nino Helfrich into the Iron Angel family. He is a great guitar player and a very humble person, that fits perfectly into our fold, both musically and socially.

"And while we're on the subject of announcements…we are currently in the midst of the writing sessions for the next studio album, which is going to be due in 2020. Stay tuned for more information."
