Acid Reign - Part Ways With Guitarist Paul Chanter

UK thrash metal legends Acid Reign just recently announced that they have parted ways with guitarist Paul Chanter, who had been a member since the band was resurrected back in 2015, and will be focusing on his current project Other. While it is not clear who will be replacing Chanter, Acid Reign are scheduled to play Dominion Festival this July and they are expected to have a new album out later this year or next year. Stay tuned for an announcement on Chanter's replacement.

Acid Reign issued the following statement on Facebook: "It is with the deepest of regret that we announce the departure of Paul from our ranks. Paul has been a major part of the band ever since we came back, he was there at the very beginning. Like many bands post pandemic we have found it difficult to move forwards and everybody's lives have changed and that has led to a parting of ways. We’d like To wish Paul the best of luck for the future in everything he does. Here you can follow his project Other.

"Looking forward to seeing you all at Dominion Festival in July!"
