Although they released one new song called "World War V" back in December of 2020, it has been almost fifteen years since Canadian thrash metal legends Sacrifice released their most recent studio album The Ones I Condemn (2009). According to bassist Scott Watts, a follow-up album from the band is in the works, but has slowly been taking shape as it has not yet been recorded and they have no record label to release it.

Scott Watts wrote via Facebook: "It is in the process. I guarantee you that we don't have a label, so there is no rush to record. There [will] be another [album], you will see."
