what a blasphemous cover art
this is why extreme metal should stay underground and hidden from the spotlight . |

Quote: Anyone who took the time to look into our history would recognise that we have always stated we are anything but anti-christian.
Then why name youre album Antichrist?
But whatever, like controversy is something new in the Metalworld. |

he he, i hope they put thier interview on the internet.
Hope theres no problems in england for the album |

The cover is so nice.
Anti Christian is not new perspective in Metal, why still problem arising? |
| What a lame cover. I mean, damn.... |
I don't find the cover shocking at all. Irregardless, I will be buying the album, even if as an import. |
| Isn't music just art, culture? When someone write a book only writes true things in which he believe? Can't music also be a fictional work based on "someone's" opinion and tastes, or just about a subject no matter what are members' beliefs? If the album was something like "Die, Satan" I'm sure they hadn't started such a controversy. (btw, I'm a non-believer, I'm defending not antichristian things but musical culture). About the cover... It's kinda stupid... Both the pics and the color... Well, but at least it's a good album |

well i think they should arrive at BBC in their stage costumes, that means suits. those guyz overthere might be pretty surprised . btw if anyone can capture the stream with that interview, please do it i want to hear it. |
| hmm i suppose i could find it over here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland/nolan/podcasts/tv/index.shtml, after its over. |

There isn't freedom of artistic expression in this world...
Why are we still living in a medieval-like age? No hope... |

| Shit happens.. That just gives you some idea of a conservative country. Guess the band is now on the endless list of metal bands suffering from censorship.. |
God, this is crazy.. He's right, where is free speech these days?
Ill have to catch this on TV later... |
| Bloody hell, what a joke that program was, Nice to see the point of view of Akercocke, but that damn clergy completely have no right to say what should and what should not be said. |
| I havent seen that program (I was seeing Saxon and Masterplan) - but I have the program recorded to watch some time in the future.. |

I haven't taken the time to look at their history, so I don't know... are they kidding there?
How long was the TV bit? Could it possibly be thrown onto youtube? |
| That album art is massively unblasphemous/not a problem. I'm really interested in this TV debate, too. |

I think the issue with the pressing company here isn't the artwork, but more the title(/concept?)
"refused to handle the record due its 'anti-Christian' perspective" |

I just wonder why the French gave The Statue Of Liberty to the USA.
Bleh
*pukes* |
| damn america. people in here are too fuckin hypocritical |
| all this contorvsry over such a laaaame cover!! haha. |
| Brilliant cover art btw. The controversy probably has to do with the boobs featured on it and the album title. We all know that Christian fundamentalism is gaining ground all over the world and especially in the US. |

Hey, you quoted me, and inserted what you wanted to say INSIDE the quotation. Guys, I didn't say "and they should give it to taliban!!!!!!".
I'm not..... like that.
Please edit your post Desertman, don't make me say what I haven't said. |

nobody mentioned the first album is called RAPE OF THE BASTARD NAZARENE and features a naked woman fingering herself on the cover - there was and is no problem distributing or buying it... |
