Well I don't have that much of a problem since I take everything inside the jewel case before getting rid of it, which saves alot of space. Then, its Binder organisation not too hard to handle

as original ? what do you mean by that ? original... that ugly, useless and fragile plastic case has nothing to do with the album. I keep the booklet, the sides, the back covers even the lil papers they put inside from time to time.. I just don't keep this ugly piece of uselessness. Thats all. Plus it takes so much room. I don't say if its an album not in a plastic case you know cardboard like ones, those I keep... but not the hideous plastic thingy.

I have one CD and I don't remember where I last left it. Yea, does that count?

I have cd booklets/sleeves. 4 to a page. Double-sided. 250 cds or so in each of my 4 albums.

I had the impression I had already posted on this thread. Seems like I didn't. I have little wooded CD cabinets, several of them throughout my room where I put my CDs. I also like to order them alphabetically

Still have a bit of space for more but after that I'll have to buy a new shelf.

In my CD shelf, where the CD's belongs, where else?

I have them pilled on my table, next to my computer

But anyways why would he buy a hard copy if he's storing everything on a hard drive to then get rid of the cd ... it makes no sense lol he could just download it. He was probably just bullshitting us to see our reactions. Seems like his plan worked fine.

there are quite a few people that buy a cd only to rip it on to their hard disk and then store the physical cd never to touch it again. Totally ludicrous imo.

I *almost* do that... The only (but big) difference here is that I always listen to my cds everytime I go out thanks to my old trusty discman. But considering the amount of cds I'm getting, there's quite a lot of them I haven't heard in many months since I generally listen to 1-2 cds each day when I go out to Uni. Shit, I think I own around 40 cds I havent even heard, just one or two songs hahahaha.

Also, everytime my best pals and I want to chill out I'm the one who brings the cds since we like to listen to the whole thing most of the time.

Well, it's still better than just downloading it, by buying the CD, they have supported the band. But I wouldn't just rip the CD onto my computer and just putting the disc away.. Ah I love my CD's (although I don't own that many)

It was this video that made me think a bit about it. Before I just downloaded to get the music, but after seeing this video, that reminded me of the feeling when finally holding a physical CD. I won't lie, I still download albums, but that is to check if the band/album is good, if I will like it. And if I do like it, I will try to get the physical version. Not only because of the booklet and all the stuff, but also to give some money to the band.
I think that buying from itunes is shit(my opinion). If I want to support the band, I want a physical CD.
If I wasn't clear at some point, go ahead and ask
