My Dying Bride is a black sabbath for new wave of doom metal i like their albums but i can say that their % album is not really good but it has great lyrics

there is nothing bad at that album but its not a doom metal album - i think thats why fans dont like it

what Its death/doom and death/doom are DOOM

i dont think if it is a death doom album - no its not - read the review of that album.
i love them but cause i love them i cant say that thats a doom metal album

That's a very good album. It was actually my first [and right now the only] cd that I bought from the band.
But IMO "As The Flowers Withers" is better, That album is almost hard to listen for me... The vocals on the album are so good that it's unbereable at times.

As The Flower Withers. Then I got the Like Gods Of The Sun album. I'm actually listening to it right now.

I agree with TBG... That album is very different from the others.
I think I can recommend "Your River", "The Snow in My Hand", and "Turn Loose the Swans" Those are the most agressive IMO... specially the last one, really creppy atmosphere.

You shall also listen to the ballads of the album "Sear Me MCMXC III" and "Black God" both are really poetic.

Argh... Who the fuck I'm kidding, ALL the songs are good =)

all the songs r nice, and the atmosphere of the album is very depressive which u cant believe it for the very first time. how can an album be Depressive like this.

u said that u r listening to Like Gods of The Sun album. the song "For My Fallen Angel" is in the same Atmosphere. if u liked that song u have to try this album.

Jeje, I though that you took the name of that song to use it as a nick.
It's probably my favorite ballad of MDB, The violin is just precious on that song.

I have some MDB albums but I haven't listened to them too much...
but my favourite is obviously "The Angel And The Dark River". Their song "The Cry Of Mankid" is a real masterpiece! I can't bored of that song!

The whole album of "The angel and the dark river" is their most complete (and oppressive) sounding album in my opinion, all of their subsequent albums pale in comparison (no doubt partly due to the lack of the violin).
