What, no Mathias Blad!?

From this list I'd say Hansi, but most of them are pretty bland anyway...

Hansi, by far. I do wish that his studio singing was a bit more - I'm not sure how to put this - natural-sounding, like on the live album. He's still awesome, though.

Tony Kakko, definitevely Tony Kakko. He's one of my favorites singers. But, in this list, I love Hansi Kursch and Matt Barlow too.

Right now I'd say Brodén from Sabaton. I rarely listen to Power Metal but my best friend worships Sabaton. Brodén is certainly not a favourite Metal vocalist of mine, but his voice really fits their music. It's really hard for me to namedrop great Power Metal singers.

And yes, I do know they're probably a little more Heavy than Power.

I totally agree to that, the singer of Sabaton is awesome, many Power Metal singers sound like clowns and Brodén is finally a male power metal singer who sounds male

I like them all, but Tony Kakko and Hansi are the most impressive, the high tone of their voices besides the raspy, manly sound,

How could you not include Kai Hansen in this list? Tsk, tsk. Anyway, I went with Hansi. Nice, crisp vocals.

My vote is for Mat Barlow, he has always been a favorite. However Roy Khan, DC Cooper, Hansi Krusch and everyone else on the list are very, very good singers.

I think it might be Alexi Laiho from COB.

.......Neither Alexi nor CoB are power metal.

From these Hansi, but Barlow isn´t far. Ripper is good too, but the best is King F*cking Diamond!

If this were my band I'd take Bruce Dickinison. Granted, I'd probably have to abduct, drug & brainwash him but all in all he's who I'd take.

this poll is about power metal man.. not heavy..

Wow, I though Tony Kakko would have more votes. He got my vote because I think he's an amazing singer, he has a great voice, and to be able to pull it off like he did, and come all the way he has come without any help, well, that is pretty amazing, if you ask me. Secondly, I'd choose Matt Barlow, though I like him more on Pyramaze than Iced Earth, for the most part.

From this list I'd say Hansi Kursch. I think he is a bit more unique sounding compared to many other power metal singers. And although that goes for Matt Barlow and Roy Khan as well I just like Hansi Kursch's singing a bit more.

What about Andre Matos?! (Used to be in Viper, Angra and Shaaman)

Michael Kiske has divine voice. I listen to his solo album just because of the vocals.
Other great vocalists are Kai, Jorn and Hansi.

Tobias all the way! I don't understand why Hansi Kursch... I really like Blind Guardian but I have to say that his voice often annoys me... anyways, I like them!

Michael Kiske and Roy Khan are also AMAZING! WHERE IS JORN LANDE??? That's a VOICE!

Best power metal singer.. hmm hard to choose.. i would say kai hansen

I love almost all these vocalist, and though helloween's keeper albums reign high on my favorites list, i voted for hansi. his voice is just so power ful yet at times so soft and subtle. no other vocalist has a sound even close to his and after the demons and wizards albums came out and they wrote song about the drak tower series he took the cake. blind guardian and demons and wizards are both great power bands and both headed by hansi yet they sound different. hansi takes my vote.

In my opinion Tobias Sammet (Edguy) but am not a Power Metal fan
