I don't see where you're getting the "Race to the bottom" from, I'm just pointing out that Canada has things to be proud of compared to other countries. Like not being executed/dumped for being a girl a birth.

If all you do is find examples of places that are "worse" to make yourself feel good, there's no positive outcome, because everything is just about you.

If your source of pride is a race to the bottom, where is the positive effect it is supposed to have, according to some here?

Or, to bring back a point from earlier, how does your pride make your community better for her?

And why are you proud of that, personally? Why is that part of your identity when you know the reality of minorities?
