2006 was okay there was a couple of great release, a really good year for Doom metal , but not as amazing as the year before but still a good one My favorite non metal albums of 2006 1. Ys By Joanna Newsom (Chamber Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Progressive Folk)  5. The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me By Brand New (Emo, Indie rock)  My favorite movie from 2006
