I really need to learn Portuguese, since I have absolutely no idea what track # 6 is all about. I just hope it's not a harsh swear word, because I've been shouting "Obaluaรช!" all day long.

In any case, this is a very bold, unconventional and yet incredibly catchy album, and I haven't heard such an impactful blend of black metal and doom in a very long time. There's something primal, ritualistic, fierce and impetuous underneath it, which makes this mix really special.
The first track already features one of the coolest riffs of the year. Didn't anyone tell these Brazilians that it's forbidden to waste a riff like that just for a short intro? Dismember would have killed someone to have this on Indecent And Obscene...

However, I still can't believe that I found this by pure chance. Even though it's only a few hours old, I haven't listened to any other 2023 album more often. I even considered skipping work because I just can't get enough of it...

Under which massive rock did this band hide for 14 years?

This comment made me intrigued. If you're hyping an album this much it has to be good, so I went straight to YouTube to check it out. One playthrough and it definitely got my attention and "Obaluaรช" certainly is the stand out track of the album. This will get a lot more spins in the coming weeks. Very nice find!

Waste? The intro is arguably the most important place to have a really awesome riff. How else are you going to hook your audience?

Anyway, I'm listening right now and sounds pretty cool. If you're so passionate about the album, maybe it's time to write your first review?

I suppose I could easily explain in my native language why I prefer meat over vegetables, but conveying in comprehensible English why exactly I like a particular album is beyond my abilities. Also, we've had a great team of talented reviewers for quite some time now and I really don't want to drag down the level of quality with my contribution.

You're review writing skills are perfectly fine. The CC's are proof of that so I agree with F3ynman. And if I could do it, you most certainly can too

Everyone goes through that phase where they're underestimating themselves. You're much better than you think.
