Forging a new sound in heavy music, Kansas City powerhouse Hyborian has wrapped up production on their debut LP for The Company: Hyborian Vol. I. Channeling the energy of stoner legends like High on Fire and Crowbar, while injecting progressive elements all their own, Hyborian is that rare beast; something new in metal.

Hyborian Vol. I was recorded by guitar players Martin Bush and Ryan Bates at their studio/rehearsal space in Kansas City's West Bottoms, mixed by Justin Mantooth at Westend Studios, mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance East, and features artwork by Josh Wilkinson.

In their short existence Hyborian has shared the stage as direct support for Iron Reagan, Powertrip, Vektor, Mutoid Man, Acid King, Tweak Bird, Mothership, and Whores.

Hailed by Sludgelord founder Steve Howe as "a superb debut album . . . an impressive debut album indeed", Hyborian Vol. I is available via www.thecompanykc.com on vinyl, cd, and cassette, and wherever mp3s are sold on 3/17/17.
