Ungodly got founded in the brazilian state of Bahia in 2001. Formed by the guitar player Daniel Oliveira, UNGODLY does play Death Metal with de Black Metal influences. In March 2004 UNGODLY recorded their first mini-CD MCD Hate Celebration, does inumerous shows in the northeast of brazil and starts to compose their first full length CD - UNGODLY. Produced by Thiago Nogueira (ex-Headhunter DC). The debut álbum has been recorded at some of the best studios in Salvador that are known for their quality in the whole of brazil likel: Ilha dos Sapos, Groove and Casa das Máquinas - this last one where the álbum has been mixed and mastered. The debut edition of UNGODLY has been released in a very special digipack version with as a bonus the videoclip of Murderers in the name of God, recorded on 16 mm film. The filming has been done in historical locations in Bahia under direction of the famous Brazilian cineast Eduardo Band and produzed by the TV presentator Vinicius Neves (Stay Heavy). UNGODLY´s apearance as special supportact on the brazilian Slayer tour, September 2006 and the recent Arch Enemy show in February in São Paulo has been cheered by the Brazilian press and audience in general as one of the most successful shows done by a brazilian band in a long time.
