Yeah it totally does, and I'm sure it will. I hope they choose more wisely and not go for something like Gehenna again.
Ilham - 12.09.2014 at 15:37
Ugh. Gehenna. Ugh.

Can't think of one bm band I'd like to see there.
!J.O.O.E.! - 12.09.2014 at 15:52
I'm hoping they have a nice balance of death, grind, doom, black and hardcore.
!J.O.O.E.! - 12.09.2014 at 22:44
I'll just leave this here.

Fritillaria - 12.09.2014 at 22:55

Thanks, though I don't even have a ticket yet so don't call me lucky yet =P
Ilham - 12.09.2014 at 23:15
I find that so ironic. I really just commented on this out of curiosity when they announced the first bands, and a month later I have my ticket. Johan then Rod joined the party, and this bum who started the whole thing will be the last to get it. I'm very happy I'm spending money on something new and not just another Hellfest.
!J.O.O.E.! - 12.09.2014 at 23:17
I actually came within a few clicks of buying a ticket 6 weeks back or so, but then the whole house thing happened so it's probably better that I hadn't.
Ilham - 12.09.2014 at 23:19
I know I'm just poking fun at you really, and that was a wise decision. I am just very lucky someone helped me get it .

Ticket Bought!! Beyond Excited!

HA fooled you. I'm poor as fuck sitting here crying to Joy Division.

Yeah, you did it for a few seconds. I'm with you, I hate not being rich

That's some really nice Photoshop skills there for the line up adjustments. Please just tell me that the editing process wasn't made by you this time

Haha, nope, not this time. This came directly from Southern Lord before they took it down a few minutes after it went up. Presumably because the announcement isn't supposed to be till the 15th

Currently feel the same about Roadburn. Looks like a bit of a snorefest so far with no bands I'd go to see aside from maybe FotN just to see what they're like

Not sure if you had known this already, but I recently added their two upcoming 30th Anniversary December London shows that there doing on here fyi.

The one on the 5th is right in the middle of that At The Gates / Triptykon / Morbus Chron gig on the 4th and a noise festival on the 6th. Maybe I'll make a 3 day trip to London and stay with a friend or something
Vombatus - 13.09.2014 at 22:25
I hope the Southern Lord guys were just trolling
!J.O.O.E.! - 13.09.2014 at 22:29
Haha, I really hope they weren't. Someone asked them on their page and they responded with "jumped the gun with announcing. stay tuned" so who knows.

You might as well add From Hell into the mix while your at it
Ilham - 15.09.2014 at 17:04
Fucking perfect. All my new favourite bands are in there.

Vombatus - 15.09.2014 at 17:05
Alright. So it was true, along with Grave fucking Miasma (and other stuff I'm not familiar with). Just needs a bit more Blekk Metulz.

I'm getting my ticket soon. Fuck it if I can't attend afterwards.

Yeah it does. As good as it looks I'm worried they're gonna keep piling on the grind and hardcore. Could really do with a little more heavier doom and a splash of black metal. Oranssi Pazuzu seem to visit the UK a lot so they're a possibility, though the fact they do come here a lot means Temples might avoid them altogether. Kind of hard to speculate what black they'll get really. Probably something from the orthodox, French aus Nord style like Svartidaudi or Carpe Noctem as they're no stranger to UK shores. The Ruins of Beverast also isn't out the realm of possibility seeing as he played in Ireland not too long ago (but not the UK, swine).

I reckon they might get novelty non-metal thing too like Beastmilk last year. Necro Deathmort would be a good choice I think as they tie into the metal scene.
Ilham - 15.09.2014 at 17:57
Yeah Necro Deathmort would be cool. As for bm I wouldn't mind seeing Kvelertak, Oranssi Pasnusnu and Glorior Belli. I can't think of anything else that is still touring, haven't seen yet, and would fit the current style/lineup.

It does need a little more sludge/doom. Primitive Man maybe?
Vombatus - 15.09.2014 at 18:28
I'd love me some Necro Deathmort, they would fit perfectly.

I bet a good amount of the bands to be confirmed will be touring around europe those dates, but it's really early to speculate on who will be available in 8 months...
But yeah, some weird/non traditional black metal a la Oranssi Pazuzu is the kind of BM I think would fit best here (oh, and Urfaust of course haha).
!J.O.O.E.! - 15.09.2014 at 19:47
Sorry Johan, I ballsed up the edit. It should be KEN Mode so it links.

Oh you sorted it. Nevermind.
J. N. - 15.09.2014 at 19:53
Holding my thumbs for some UKBM in the line-up.
Mr. Doctor - 17.09.2014 at 12:42
Trap Them, Martyrdöd, KEN Mode and Skit-fucking-system.

Oh man IT IS OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNN.
