Bolt Thrower - Set To Return To Australia After 22 Years

British death metal titans Bolt Thrower will be returning to Australia for the first time in 22 years, to play the Black Conjuration Fest, and some selected club shows. Australian outlaws Cauldron Black Ram will be joining us as national support, with other local support coming from Portal, Cruciform, Inverloch and Beyond Mortal Dreams. Timo Tolkki - Involved In New Project With Caterina Nix

Multi-instrumentalist Timo Tolkki is always involved in many projects in his career and there is a new one on the horizon. This time, Timo Tolkki will join forces with Chilean singer Caterina Nix in Chaos Magic. Textures - In The Studio Recording New Album

Another band is preparing a new album. This time around, it's Textures, who have officially entered the studio last week to record the follow up for their 2011 album Dualism, which will be released via Nuclear Blast Records. This will be the progressive metal band's first album with current guitarist Joe Tal, who completed the band as a six-piece again in 2013. The new album is expected to be released in early 2016. As long as it's good, right?

Threat Signal - Welcome New Guitarist, New Album Update

Threat Signal have given an update on their new album. The follow-up to Threat Signal (2011) is coming along and the melodic death metallers will start tracking the record this month. In other news, guitarist Matt Perrin has officially joined the band as a permanent member. He's been helping the band as a touring guitarist for a while now. Travis Montgomery and Matt Perrin will begin laying down tracks for the new album soon.
