Coroner - New Drummer Announced

Swiss technical thrash metallers Coroner have announced their new drummer. Following Markus "Marquis Marky" Edelmann's departure earlier this year, the group now confirms Diego Rapacchietti as the new man on the drums. According to the band, "Diego is an accomplished and innovative drummer. He has played in bands Paganini, Venturia, 69 Chambers, and many more. Diego also has extensive experience as a studio drummer for various projects."

Former Crowbar bassist Jeremy Young has passed away. The band themselves announced the sad news via their Facebook page. Jeremy Young was a good friend of the band and played bass with Crowbar in 2000. He also played in Abuse and Merry-Go-Drown.

Death Angel - Cancel European Summer Tour Except Hellfest

Death Angel's vocalist Mark Osegueda had the task to share today that the Bay Area thrashers have cancelled their summer festival appearances in Europe except for Hellfest in France, where they will be performing in June. Belphegor - Rehearsal Footage Featuring New Song Samples

Rising Moon Productions has released the first trailer for the upcoming documentary film Soaring Highs And Brutal Lows: The Voices Of Women In Metal, produced and directed by Mark Harwood. The film explores the experiences of female metal vocalists and combines interview, concert and archival footage.
