My Dying Bride - Hamish Glencross Leaves, Calvin Robertshaw Rejoins

My Dying Bride have announced a change in their line-up. The band split with long-time guitarist Hamish Hamilton Glencross and also confirmed the return of original guitarist Calvin Robertshaw to the fold. The reasons for Hamish's departure were described as "irreconcilable differences" but the British metallers still wish him all the luck with his future endeavours. Also, in case you are wondering, the band already has 7 songs written for their new album and the plan is to record it later this year.

W.A.S.P. - New Album Next Year, Announce Title

Good news for W.A.S.P. fans. During a press conference on June 6th before the band's performance at this year's edition of the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden, mainman Blackie Lawless stated that they are "about three weeks away from finishing" their new studio album, titled Golgotha, which will be released next year. Anthrax - Drummer Jon Dette Filling In For Benante On European Dates

Jon Dette will fill in for drummer Charlie Benante on the first few weeks of Anthrax's 29-city European tour that kicked off on May 27th in Barcelona, Spain and runs until July 12th in Balingen, Germany. Benante, who had surgery on his hand last summer and has been going for regular physical therapy up until just recently, thought he'd be back to 100% for the Carolina Rebellion and Beale Street Music Festival shows that Anthrax also did earlier this month.

Tankard - New Video Online, Releasing Split With Destruction

German thrashers Tankard have recently premiered the music video for the track "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" and now you can watch the video here. Arch Enemy - Vocalist Broke A Rib, Continues Performing

During a recent show on the band's European tour, Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz (who's still a new addition to the band) actually jumped so hard on stage that she broke her riser into pieces and broke a rib in the fall. However, she has been a trooper and continued with the tour. Arch Enemy already finished the first 10 shows and crowds have been welcoming Alissa on her debut tour with the band.
