Heir Apparent - Recording New Material

American proggers Heir Apparent haven't released a new album since the 80's but in the last few months the band has been doing some recordings for a new album, including drums and vocals. Tom Hall, the engineer on Graceful Inheritance, Triad, and One Small Voice, is producing the new album. Now we have to wait until the final product arrives.

Deafheaven - Debut New Song

Earlier this year, Deafheaven revealed that they were recording a new album, which is called Ordinary Corrupt Human Love and will drop on Anti Records on July 13th, 2018. Battleroar - Announce New Album

Greek epic/power metal force Battleroar is currently putting the finishing touches on their fifth full-length album, Codex Epicus, which is set for a June 15th release via Cruz Del Sur Music. The follow-up to 2014's Blood Of Legends was recorded at Devasoundz Studios in Athens, Greece and will feature a guest appearance from someone very familiar to fans of epic metal: Manilla Road guitarist/vocalist Mark Shelton.

Behemoth - Charges Against Nergal Dismissed In Merch Case

If you have been following the case involving Behemoth's frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski, who was formally charged by Polish authorities for allegedly disrespecting one of the country's national symbols, alongside Maciej G., who promoted the tour, there's a new update now. According to the musician, those charges have now been dismissed. Nergal also promised that the design would return to the Behemoth merch store soon.

Soilwork - Begin Work On Brand New Album

Swedish metallers Soilwork have entered Nordic Sound Lab studios in Skara, Sweden, to begin recording their 11th album and follow-up to 2015's critically acclaimed The Ride Majestic. So, it's good news for their fans. The album will be the first to feature the addition of Bastian Thusgaard's (The Arcane Order, Dawn Of Demise) drumming. Thusgaard replaced longtime drummer Dirk Verbeuren in 2016, who left the band to join Megadeth.
