Girlschool - Preparing New Album, Announce Tour

Girlschool will visit the U.S. for the first time in almost 20 years when they kick off their Guilty As Sin tour in San Diego, California on May 20th. They have been around since the 70s and are also preparing a new album right now. The heavy metal band will bring along special guests Crucified Barbara, Old James and Velvet Black on their North American return.

Arcturus - Confirm First European Tour In Ten Years

Six Feet Under - New Album Coming, Debut New Track

Death metal veterans Six Feet Under have been very prolific throughout the years and that is not about to change now. In fact, they will release their eleventh studio recording on May 5th via Metal Blade Records. Titled Crypt Of The Devil, the album brings a ten track slab of audio violence composed by vocalist Chris Barnes and Cannabis Corpse bassist/vocalist Phil "Landphil" Hall. Katatonia - Reveal Clip From New Concert Film

While Katatonia haven't released a new album in a few years, they have been busy with other releases including EPs, compilations, acoustic releases and DVDs. Now the Swedish masters of melancholy will release a new concert film, Sanctitude, and today you get to watch the live video for "Day" which is a beautiful song you might know from one of the band's standout records, Brave Murder Day. Sanctitude will be released on March 30th in the UK and the rest of the world, March 31st in the USA and Canada, and April 3rd in Germany. Until then, enjoy this version of the haunting "Day" song.

Skyforger - New Album Details Unveiled

There is another new album to look forward to this year! That is the new Skyforger album. Some of you already know that for the last few years, Skyforger has been busy working on a new album. Broken Hope - Founding Member Ryan Stanek Dies

Sad and shocking news arrive from the Broken Hope camp. Their original drummer and co-founder Ryan Syenak has passed away at the young age of 42 years old. Syenak co-founded the band with guitarist Jeremy Wagner and vocalist Joe Ptacek (who committed suicide in 2010) and he also designed the death metallers first ever logo. R.I.P.

Armored Saint - Releasing New Album This Summer

Van Halen - Two Live Songs Available Online

Van Halen will release its first-ever live album to feature original singer David Lee Roth. Recorded on June 21st, 2013 at the famed Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, Tokyo Dome Live In Concert includes 23 songs, spanning all seven of the band's albums with Roth. It will be released as a double CD, four-LP set on 180-gram vinyl, and digitally beginning on March 31st, 2015. For now, you can listen to ''Panama'' and ''Runnin' With The Devil'' which have now been made available online.

Amorphis - New Album In September, Heads For Studio

Later this year, Amorphis will be heading out on tour with Nightwish and Arch Enemy but they have more tricks up their sleeve. In fact, you can expect the band's new album pretty soon, around September. The Finns started off the year by demoing new songs for their upcoming 12th studio album and will start pre-production this March in Helsinki with producer Jens Bogren. The album recordings will begin in April at Bogren's Fascination Street Studio in Stockholm. What will they bring to the table on their next album? We will have to wait and see.

The death metallers reunited on board the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2015 and that seemed to have sparked them to write new music.
