Entombed - LG Petrov Version Becomes 'Entombed A.D.'

Entombed has apparently split into two separate bands. Back To The Front, the new album that was recorded last year by four members of the most recent lineup of the legendary Swedish metal act, LG Petrov, Nico Elgstrand, Olle Dahlstedt and Victor Brand, and recorded with Roberto Laghi, will come out under the name Entombed A.D.. Furthermore, it was announced that frontman LG Petrov will only perform with Entombed A.D. and not take part of any upcoming shows announced under the name Entombed. Back To The Front is now being scheduled for a spring release after several delays.

Slayer - US Tour With Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies

Slayer will take a break from writing and recording their next album to hit the road in May for a handful of dates in the US. Joining Slayer as special guests for these shows are Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus, marking the first time Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies have toured together since the 1990 European Clash Of The Titans tour. Gary Holt continues to fill in for Slayer's fallen guitarist Jeff Hanneman and will do double-duty as guitarist in his primary band Exodus.

Carcass - BBC Session Available For Streaming

Recently, the legends Carcass recorded four songs, "Unfit For Human Consumption", "The Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System", "Captive Bolt Pistol" and "Carneous Cacoffiny", at the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios in London, England. Machine Head - Being Sued By Former Bassist Adam Duce

Things could get messy for Machine Head. As it turns out, Adam Duce's exit from the band wasn't that amicable after all. According to Courthouse News, the former bassist has filed a lawsuit against the band and their manager in Federal Court. He seeks damages for trademark infringement, breach of partnership agreement and defamation, among other things. Ouch!

Insomnium - New Album This Spring, Live Video Online

This past December, Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium spent the holiday season in the studio recording their 6th full-length album. In order to achieve the best production in the band's history, Insomnium decided to record drums at SF Sound (with Kimmo Perkkiö), located in the group's former hometown (Joensuu), while recording the remaining instruments at studio Korkeakoski (Kotka) with Teemu Aalto. André Alvinzi (Fascination Street Studios) will now mix the album so that it will see a spring 2014 release.
