Trollfest - New Album Detailed, Tour Dates

Norwegian trolls Trollfest are coming out with a new album this year. Their sixth full-length album is called Kaptein Kaos, they have unveiled its details today as well as their first headlining European tour. You can take a look at the cover artwork below by Swedish cartoonist Jonas Darnell and design by Terje Johnsen, and the tracklist. Like previous albums, Kaptein Kaos is set in the fantasy world of trolls.

Therion - Announce New Releases

Apart from the rock opera they are working on, Therion have now announced more releases for February 21st. More specifically, the deluxe edition CD + DVD of their classic album Theli as well as a 3-DVD package (limited edition including bonus DVD) called Adulruna Redivia And Beyond. Their new studio album is scheduled for late 2014. You have a lot to look forward to this year.

Shining - Postpone Finnish Shows Due To Frontman's Health

Black metallers Shining were supposed to start off a four-date Finnish tour in a few days but it has been announced that the tour will be postponed because Niklas Kvarforth has to undergo some intensive treatment for a back problem that developed during the last tour. In this case, the show will not go on.

Ancient Bards - Guitarist Leaves The Band

After the good news about the forthcoming third studio album, no-one surely expected this: guitarist Fabio Balducci, with the band since 2007, just left Ancient Bards due to personal reasons. Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios) will take his place in future studio albums.

Aeon - Reveal New Guitarist

Aeon recently faced the departure of long-time guitarist Daniel Dlimi, who left the band at the end of last year because he couldn't afford being in the band anymore. Well, his successor will be Ronnie Björnström (Bone Gnawer, ex-Ribspreader and Those Who Bring The Torture). You might remember him as the producer of the band's latest opus Aeons Black. He will already be working with the death metal group on their new album.

Motörhead - New Festival Appearance Announced

Motörhead has been confirmed for the 2014 edition of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, set to take place from April 11th-13th and April 18th-20th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California (US) ? the same grounds where Coachella debuted in 1999. As for the band's postponed European dates, they are now happening in February/March this year.
