Anneke Van Giersbergen - New Album Detailed

Former The Gathering singer Anneke Van Giersbergen, whom has also collaborated with Devin Townsend, Anathema, Moonspell and many others, has announced the details of her new album which follows Everything Is Changing released at the beginning of last year. That must mean the creative juices have been flowing nicely. Drive will be the title of her new solo effort, to be released on September 27th.

Avulsed - Complete New Album, Tracklist Revealed

Five months after the recordings started and after going through the laborious process of editing, mixing and mastering, the long awaited new album of death metallers Avulsed titled Ritual Zombi is complete. According to the band, this album will have a never-seen-before particularity on such an underground death metal release (even never seen on major labels) and consists of a simultaneous release with 9 releases on 8 different labels around the world in 4 different formats. Cannibal Corpse - To Be Inducted Into Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame

This year, legendary death metallers Cannibal Corpse are celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band and now the group has been recognized and selected for induction in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2013. Cannibal Corpse is the latest addition to the Hall of Fame, which also includes Buffalo natives the Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Sheehan, 10,000 Maniacs, and many more. The induction ceremony will be held October 3rd at the Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo, New York.

Lamb Of God - Randy Blythe Memoir Coming Next Year

After last year's ordeal which was only really over last month, it isn't surprising that publishers wanted to get hold of Lamb Of God's singer Randy Blythe. He has now confirmed that he has penned a memoir focusing mainly on what happened last year about his arrest, incarceration, trial and exoneration that will come out in the Spring of 2014 on Perseus/Da Capo Press in North America and Random House in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
