Trail Of Tears - Complete Work On New Album

Norwegian gothic metal quintet, Trail Of Tears, have finished the recordings for their upcoming new album.

The band posted the following on their MySpace page: "The recordings for the still untitled 7th Trail Of Tears album has been completed in Sound Suite Studio in Marseille, France, with producer Terje Refsnes! Cathrine came through the extreme schedule with flying colours, putting the finishing vocals on the end result and delivered a performance for the history books!"

Paradise Lost - Guitarist Gregor Mackintosh Launches New Band

Paradise Lost guitarist and songwriter Gregor Mackintosh has formed a new band called Vallenfyre, along with members of My Dying Bride, At The Gates and Doom. The band's debut album A Fragile King will be released on October 31st, 2011, in Europe and on November 1st, 2011, in North America through Century Media Records. Vallenfyre is not a one-off project and will continue as a band that will also play live in 2012.

Trick Or Treat - New Drummer Announced, Working On New Album

Italian power metal band Trick Or Treat announced a line-up change. The drummer Mirko Virdis, in the band since 2007, decided to leave and he will be replaced by Luca Setti. The band is also working on their new album, which will be their third full-length.

Galneryus - Reveal New Album Cover Art, Bonus DVD & Bonus CD Tracklist

Japanese power metal act Galneryus have revealed the album cover art for their upcoming new album titled Phoenix Rising, set for release on October 5th. French death metal band Necroblaspheme announced the completion of a new upcoming EP, entitled XXVI: The Deeper - The Better, three years after Destination: Nulle Part was released, in 2008. Misery, the brand-new upcoming EP from Canadian noisegrinders Fuck The Facts is set to be released on October 11th, together with the band's upcoming full-length album Die Miserable.

The band comments: The Misery EP is basically a collection of B-sides from our upcoming album Die Miserable. It also includes collaboration tracks we did with Jesse Mathewson (KEN Mode) & Elliot Desgagnes (Beneath The Massacre) and a re-recorded version of the song "Unburden".
