Black Sabbath - Might Write New Music

Although Black Sabbath have repeatedly stated that they are not going to tour anymore, guitarist Tony Iommi recently told Ultimate Classic Rock that he might write new music with the band again. When asked if there is a future for Black Sabbath beyond the farewell tour, Iommi stated: "Maybe. As I said, I'll be doing some writing. Maybe I'll be doing something with the guys, maybe in the studio, but no touring." So, Black Sabbath could be releasing new music in the future; at least the door is open.

Abbath - Releasing New Album In 2017

Great news from the land of cold winters, Norway. You can expect a new Abbath album as early as next year! The former Immortal frontman released his self-titled debut solo album this year but he is already starting to work on new tunes. Abbath, King and Creature have this week started rehearsals for the upcoming album in their hometown of Bergen. The album will be released sometime next year.

Black Sabbath - To Release 'Paranoid' Deluxe Edition

As the legendary Black Sabbath near the conclusion of their triumphant final tour, the band releases their influential classic, Paranoid: super deluxe edition, out on November 11th. Including the 2012 remaster of the original album, in addition to a rare 1974 quad mix of the album in stereo, this edition also features the official debut of two concerts from 1970, from Montreux and Brussels.

Black Sabbath - Man Arrested For Selling Fake Concert Tickets

As you are probably aware of, Black Sabbath are currently touring on North American soil as part of their farewell tour. And some are taking advantage of that. Recently, a Virginia man was arrested by Howard County police after selling fake Black Sabbath concert tickets to a buyer in Elkridge. Shannon Michael Seeber, 34, of Manassas, was charged with theft scheme, forgery, possession of false government identification and drug possession.

Children Of Bodom - Announce N. American Tour With Abbath

Children Of Bodom are hitting the road once again in North America! The Finns will embark on a 21-date North American tour with special guests Abbath, California-based metal act Exmortus, and Canada's progressive metallers Oni. The trek will commence in Quebec on November 23rd and will hit 3 Canadian cities as well as Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and conclude in Brooklyn on December 19th.

Black Sabbath - Final Shows Announced In UK

As you know, Black Sabbath are currently on their farewell tour. Recently, they have announced the last three headlining concerts added to the final North American leg of their massive 2016 The End world tour. The iconic heavy metal band will play their last show ever in the U.S. on November 12th at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. However, for their final eight shows, Black Sabbath return home to close the final chapter in their incredible story. The end will be in Birmingham, of course.

Black Sabbath - Postpone Shows Due To Ozzy's Illness

Black Sabbath's farewell tour isn't going as smoothly as they would have hoped. The band has postponed their performance in Vancouver, Canada as well as Edmonton and Calgary due to Ozzy's condition. Their next performance will be on Saturday, February 6th in Tacoma, Washington. According to his wife, Sharon Osbourne, the canceled shows are in the process of being rescheduled, and Ozzy Osbourne will be rejoining the band on Saturday.

Black Sabbath - Tommy Clufetos Confirmed For Farewell Tour, To Release EP

England's long living metal legends, Black Sabbath, formed in 1968 in Birmingham. Three original members, except for drummer Bill Ward, will hit the road soon for their farewell tour. They are taking drummer Tommy Clufetos with them, and he has already performed with the band on tour in 2013. Furthermore, Black Sabbath is releasing a new EP called The End on January 20th.

Abbath - To Perform At Gefle Metal Festival

After an eventful year, Norwegians Abbath will perform at the Gefle Metal Festival in Gävle, Sweden in 2016. It's a two days festival in the middle of Sweden, taking place on July 15th and 16th. Abbath - Live Guitarist Quits

After the split with Immortal, frontman Olve Eikemo (Abbath) formed Abbath but is already facing another line-up change. Following the recent departure of drummer Kevin Foley (Creature), now it's live guitarist Per Frank Valla who jumps ship. Both cited personal reasons to leave the band while Abbath hasn't addressed any of this so far.

Benighted - Drummer Reveals He Is Creature From Abbath, Leaving Both Bands

You thought Baard Koldstadt was Abbath's drummer under the name of Creature? Well he was not. Kevin Foley, Benighted's drummer, has just revealed he was the mighty Creature. He has been working with Abbath on their tour this year, and also performed on Abbath's new album. He was because he is now leaving Abbath for personal reasons. Surprisingly, he is also leaving Benighted after ten years, but will be touring with them for the last time on January/February.
