Abbath - Premiere New Song

Abbath is now streaming the first song from their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, now available for pre-order here. Abbath has been slated for worldwide release on January 22nd via Season Of Mist and it's the band's debut record. The song "Winter Bane" is now exclusively available here or over here. Black Sabbath - Add Second Leg Of North American Tour

While we still don't know who will be behind the drumkit on Black Sabbath, the legendary English band from Aston, Birmingham will embark on their farewell tour next year. Due to overwhelming demand, the road to The End just got longer. After adding some European dates to the trek, the heavy metallers have now added more dates to their North American tour. These shows will follow a mix of summer headlining and festival performances throughout Europe.

Download Festival 2016 - Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath And Rammstein Headlining

UK's Download Festival 2016 brought the big guns and announced their three big headliners for 2016. The triple-threat bill includes the headliners for next year's Download Festival: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Rammstein. Rammstein will headline the Friday night. Black Sabbath will return to Donington to headline the Saturday night. Their appearance at Download Festival will form part of their worldwide The End tour, as they sign off their 50-year career. Iron Maiden will headline the Sunday night of Download Festival 2016. The British metal gods will headline Castle Donington for the sixth time on June 12th, 2016, and they'll be arriving at the festival site in true Maiden style.

Abbath - Two Live Session Videos Unveiled

After the video for the new song "Fenrir Hunts" was released recently, the newly formed black metal band Abbath have now shared a live video for ''Warriors'' which is an I cover. Fans of Immortal and Abbath might be familiar with I, another band from the Norwegian guitarist/vocalist. But there is more from Abbath to hear. It's the video for Immortal's "Nebular Ravens Winter". Both songs are from a live session recorded in September 2015.

Black Sabbath - The End Tour Euro Dates Announced

After announcing the first dates of their farewell tour for North America, Australia and New Zealand, heavy metal legends Black Sabbath have finally announced European tour dates as well. Black Sabbath's farewell tour begins on January 20th, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever. The Euro tour includes some festival appearances as well. See the shows scheduled so far below where the U.K. is still not included for now.

Abbath - 7" Single On The Way

After sharing a new song recently, Abbath will release a seven-inch single, Count The Dead, on December 11th via Season Of Mist. This will be the first official release of the band led by former Immortal frontman Abbath Doom Occulta. The A-side features the title track, a new song, while the B-side consists of a cover version of the Judas Priest classic "Riding On The Wind". Count The Dead will be released in two versions, which are both limited to 500 copies worldwide.

Today fans get to hear the first solo song of Abbath since he parted ways with Immortal. You can check out the song on the video for a live recording of "Fenrir Hunts". Black Sabbath - Announce The End Farewell Tour

Black Sabbath have surprised fans today by announcing their farewell tour. The end is near, my friend. Frontman Ozzy Osbourne had revealed last year that there would be a farewell tour and album from the legendary band. At least the tour part has now been confirmed. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible Black Sabbath story. Abbath - Debut Album Coming In January

With Immortal working on new songs and after the legal Battles In The North with his former band, Abbath went solo and his new band project is simply called Abbath. Now we know that Abbath's debut album is coming in January via Season of Mist. His line-up also features bassist King ov Hell (Gorgoroth, I, God Seed, Ov Hell) and drummer Creature. Behemoth - To Tour With Abbath, Inquisition, Entombed A.D.

Black Sabbath - Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan Canceled

It turns out Black Sabbath's Japanese "farewell" performance at this year's Ozzfest Japan has been canceled. Also, no explanation was given for this. However, festival attendees will still get Ozzy Osbourne, he will perform with his solo act plus some special friends. The Black Sabbath farewell show caused some confusion among fans and the media, unsure if the performance was their final show in Japan or the band's final show.

Abbath - Puts Immortal To Rest, Moves On With Solo Band

It seems like the Legal Battles In The North over the Immortal's name/logo have ended without an agreement. The band's frontman Abbath has released a statement regarding the future of Immortal or rather the end. Essentially, Abbath will move on with a new band under his name and the name of Immortal, for the time being, will rest. Abbath will perform at Blastfest next year and already has announced a show in London this September as well.
