Cynic - Releasing Demo Collection
Cynic will soon release Uroboric Forms - The Complete Demo Collection. The album will be released as digipak CD and limited LP+CD (with gatefold sleeve, LP-booklet, 180 g vinyl and 7"). It includes the four legendary demos Demo 1988, Refections Of A Dying World (1989), Demo 1990 and Demo 1991, showing Cynic's development from a raw underground metal band to the progressive technical death style the band is known for since the release of the classic Focus album.

Cynic - Break Up Again (Update)
UPDATE: It seems like the Cynic's break up has turned to drama now as vocalist/guitarist Paul Masvidal has responded to drummer Sean Reinert's statement that the band was over. Paul Masvidal says that the band will continue one way or another and wasn't aware of this decision. The split seems far from amicable and we might have developments on this.

A collection of metal musicians have joined forces for Project Rogue, a crowdfunded-based project to create a unique, new studio and video project. Project Rogue set up a target of $70,000 to raise in order to create Titans, an album featuring Lamb Of God's Chris Adler, System Of A Down's Shavo Odadjian, ex-Fear Factory drummer Raymond Herrera, Napalm Death's Mitch Harris, Cynic's Paul Masdival, Rob Barrett of Cannibal Corpse, among many others.
