In one week, Americans Oceans Of Slumber will unleash their fifth studio album Starlight And Ash. Now, they premiere their version of the song "House Of The Rising Sun".
"With leanings and inspirations from the Texas/Louisiana border, we felt that this cover was a perfect fit to the storytelling essence of the album," says Oceans Of Slumber about their version of "House Of The Rising Sun". I don't think it's bad (and her voice is great as always), but this is not a song I'm likely to revisit. And unfortunately none of the singles interest me in their new release.
