Have a huge exam in norwegian (!) and danish (!!!) next week, so I'm just sitting home, reading about each language grammar and shit like that. Why do our languages have to be similar? Why do I have to learn my future pupils this crap? Why can't I have a beer? Or ten?

I personaly can get litle norvegian when they talk like in news , I can not get danish att all, only when Simon Kjer was talking

my swedish, matte, (she also teacher religion) she was studing old Swedish ... we van say icelandish
Why I dont know, but same qusten is why we need to study sqare root from whatrever in matte, same in sex aducation, why they talk and dont let us try in school

Scandinavian languages (norwegian and danish and also a little icelandic and faroese) is in the national curriculum, so you have to understand it to some degree. And since I have to learn my future students this, I have to learn the fucking grammar and shit like that. I don't need to be able to speak it, but understand it better than the average swede.
Why? Well, it's certainly not the first priority in the Swedish subject but there's one good reason for it. You really don't need to put your heart and soul into it, to read and listen to the languages a little now and then in school, is certainly enough for you (or rather a swede) to understand it a whole lot better. So with just a little work, swedish student's may be able to understand 5 languages when they graduate: swedish, english, norwegian, danish and one of the other big three (french, german, spanish). So it's actually a lot more useful in life than knowing a lot of other stuff they teach you in school.
It's still boring as hell though.

I have studiet german in school it helped me whit swedish ... guy from Germany he works in Luleå he leaned swedsih at home 3-5 months and now he do svensk 1 whit me , he has denish nbame Morten LOL .... like I told knowing german helped me leanr swedish and many cases not knowing proper translation, guessing what it is all about
Now Im doing svensk 1 in komvux , I might do svensk 2
Now I have no problem whit comunication, 2 years I use only swedish in streers, busses, shops etc , english whit friends what comes from USA
But when I was at Iced Earth, WASP I didnt get anything in swedish, I turn to english, in such loud sounds, even englsih was hard to get ... well I need practice, Luleå komun shood finase such concedt practic to learn swedish
harder think is to me en eller ett , can fuck up gramaticaly all conversation if you dont know proper article
Next semester ... I hope I can start yrkesutbildning

Swe and Nor yes it is quate OK, simmilar and easyer to understand (talking part much easyer than wrighting) but denish is way to hard, more diferent , even writing part is easyer to me, than listening
