I dunno what's got everybodies' goat for jus' leaving MS like that
Troy... Boxcar Willy... JOE... Who's next?

I terribly miss all of them, what's wrong really? Why everyone's absent these days ? It makes me feel bad and uncomfortable.

Yeah me too.
Even in the SB there's people missing: Red, moonflash...

I've noticed people living up to stereotypes a lot lately. The three examples that have been popping up a lot are:

1. Accountants - been having to work with some. The stereotype of them being dull, number obsessed drones without much personality or sense of humour has been very true.

2. Metalheads - stereotype of poorly educated, mysoginistic wierdos has been very true in too many cases here on Metalstorm!

3. Eastern Europeans - stereotype of chauvinistic and mysoginistic nature has also been sadly true here on Metalstorm (but in all my experiences with them over the years have also proven true to the stereotype i.e. my own blood relatives).

Check out the feminist thread and the Enabler thread - covers the misogyny. And I just had an SB conseration with someone telling me the Catholic Church is essentially a Jesuit run Satanic conspiracy. Then there's someone famed for his inability to grasp English. Covers the wierdo bit.

Mind you most of the people on here represent elements of the metalhead stereotypes in one fashion or another. Some are stronger than others. Hell and even I'm a seriously flawed individual and tend to indulge in certain stereotypes - wouldn't be here if I wasn't.

You are actually one of the most normal people on here, ol' bean.

I already have Windows 10, it's really good I have to say, much better than the rubbish Windows 8/8.1 was. My only issue is why they included the windows store again, I'm pretty sure no one uses that, at least where I live.

Yeah, now I'm becoming one with my laptop. Soon I will be able to download every metal album with a speed of 1TB/s and I won't share it with any of you, except flower power metal albums since you love it more than any metal sub-genre :^)

The oil and dairy industry that basically run this place aren't getting payed out well this year and the place is turning intro the great depression.....well not that bad, but no ones got any work and the future of my job, or finding another one, is looking grim.

I hate it that we rely on those cunts

Crap that's terrible news. Hopefully things'll get better soon! How is NZ as a whole going economically?

We're the same. They keep talking about a recovery whilst official unemployment increases and more and more things close down.

A lot of of SE Queensland felt it, apparently. I think you really had to be above the ground floor to feel it. The only big earthquake I know of in Australia is that one in Newcastle in the 90s. We don't generally get them because we're on only 1 plate.

Wow been so cold here it's snowed. I've lived in Launceston for 24 years and never seen snow.

One of the coldest years I can remember - night time temperatures of -1 are common as opposed to occassional.

Bizarre stuff. Again it doesn't snow in Hobart.

Wasn't heavy snow and certainly won't set but still very out of the ordinary.

Great article on why European Union is turning bad:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-kuttner/the-german-menace_b_7922376.html

Personally I always thought it was just an excuse for Germany to take over Europe without actual military invasion, and voila, it's exactly what's happened in Greece.

Somewhere in Hell, Hitler is grinning madly.

Seems I was wrong about snow not setting in Hobart:

Roads and schools are closed. This might not be thick by European/US standards but this just doesn't happen here so we don't have same infrastructure as those places
