Celestia - Announce Final Album Details, Streaming Online

With 20 years and 4 full-length albums on its shoulders, the French black metal duo Celestia are pulling back to the shadows to rest. The band's final album, Apparitia Sumptuous Spectre, is due out by the end of summer through Apparitia Recordings. Though the CD version is scheduled for June and the vinyl version is scheduled for September, Apparitia Sumptuous Spectre can be streamed in full and purchased as a digital download through the label's Bandcamp page here. Thrashed To Kill resulted in drinks spilled.

When last we left Project Pain, I reviewed their debut I Have Sinned, the first album of some old school Dutch thrashers. With Thrashed To Kill it seems the band has continued their thrashin' ways, gobbling up Gouda, pounding Jenever, sticking their fingers in dikes and shoving their wooden shoes up the backsides of poor posers. Thrash. Sorry, hadn't used that word in a sentence or two, needed to get it in.

Jonne - Järvelä's New Band Joins Massacre Records, Album Out In July

You might know Jonne Järvelä as the guitarist/vocalist of Korpiklaani. Massacre Records have just announced the signing of Jonne, which was formed by Jonne Järvelä as a solo project which soon morphed and developed into a full band. From starting out as a solo idea, it fast grew into a real band, accompanied by 9 other musicians from the Finnish folk and metal music scene, featuring members of Amorphis, Shape Of Despair, Wabanag and Oceanwake. Jonne's self-titled album is set to be released on July 24th, 2015 via Massacre Records.

Canadian noise/hardcore trio KEN Mode decided to brighten our day by sharing a second song from their upcoming album Success, which will be out soon, on June the 16th via Season Of Mist.
