Avenged Sevenfold - Debut New Video

Avenged Sevenfold's "God Damn" music video has officially debuted online. The American metallers surprise-released the ambitious album The Stage last year. Directed by Anders Rostad and filmed earlier this year in Southern California before a crowd of fans, the clip combines performance footage with special effects inspired by the album's focus on Artificial Intelligence and other scientific/science-fiction themes. Arcadea - Brann Dailor's New Band Releases Song

Today you can hear music from Mastodon's drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor new side-project Arcadea. The band was born when Brann Dailor teamed up with upside-down guitarist and keyboardist Core Atoms (Zruda) to create a synth-laden progressive, heavy psych band. Adding guitarist Raheem Amlani (Withered) on synth, the three recorded their synth odyssey at Orange Peel Studios in Atlanta, GA. Check out "Infinite End" which will appear on the band's debut, self-titled album, to get a sense of the music.

Volumes - Reveal New Track From Upcoming Album

Volumes will unveil their new album, Different Animals, on June 9th via Fearless Records and the band has released another new song, "Left For Dead", which is the third preview video off the upcoming album. "Left For Dead" departs significantly from the rap metal of "On Her Mind" and the shoegazey "Feels Good", but sounds in line with the band's No Sleep album, released in 2014. Steve Grimmett - Walking Again After Surgery

Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper frontman, whose leg was amputated after an aggressive infection in January just hours after he finished playing a show in Ecuador, is now back on his feet and is teaching himself to walk again. Grimmett has finally been fitted for a prosthesis, and the recent post on his Facebook page shows that he's chosen a custom design that is the most metal replacement limb imaginable. We sincerely hope Grimmett's recovery process is as fast and painless as possible, and he's able to return to the stage with his band before too long.

Strikelight - Stream Entire New Album

Greek classic heavy metal band Strikelight released their third full length album, Beyond The Afterglow, on 22nd April via Eat Metal Records, coming six years after their last studio effort, Taste My Attack. They are now a four-piece with new drummer Jerry Cobra (Gerasimos Notarakis). The band's guitarist, Nikos Papakostas (also member of Greek thrashers Convixion) has decided to stream the entire album on his channel and you can listen to it below.

Epica - Announce Tour With Lacuna Coil, Insomnium And Elantris

Symphonic metal giants Epica will be hitting North America for an extensive tour and they're bringing with them Lacuna Coil, Insomnium and Elantris. "The Ultimate Principle Tour" will find Epica promoting their latest record, The Holographic Principle, which came out last year. The first show starts on August 31st in Boston and is set to be completed with a final performance in New York on September 29th.

KMFDM - Announce Two New Releases And Tour

Great news for German industrial outfit KMFDM fans as the band has announced two new releases, an EP and a full-length album. Yeah! is a 5-track EP of new songs and remixes and will be released on June 23rd (pre-order here), while the LP is expected to be available in August, but no other details have been revealed yet. In order to promote these two releases, the band has also announced the "KMFDM Hell Yeah! 2017 Tour", in Europe and the United States.

Evertale - Working On New Studio Album

German power metal masters Evertale, that started their epic journey under the Blackened name, just announced that they are working on a new album called The Great Brotherwar, which is due out later this year. They also announced new tour dates. Together with Elvenking, Finsterforst and Firtan, they will kick off the "Your Heroes Are Dead" European tour.

Between The Buried And Me - Launch Video From New DVD

This Friday, April 28th, proggers Between The Buried And Me will release their new DVD/Blu-ray, Coma Ecliptic: Live, via Metal Blade Records, in association with Good Fight Entertainment. The concert features the band performing their latest album, Coma Ecliptic, in its entirety and was filmed live on location October 4th, 2016 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA.
