Mad Max

It all began in 1982 when the New wave of British heavy metal stormed in from Great Britain all over Europe.

This was the starting point for the passionate and young German band from Muenster. Heavy metal music was the rule, and sending the first demos ever to the recently founded company Roadrunner Records made them get one of their first signings.

Mad Max were in good company. Bands like Metallica, King Diamond or Lee Aaron were signed to the nowadays very highly acclaimed metal label as well. The deal ran over three albums, and suddenly the band started touring intensively with bands as Pretty Maids, Yngwie Malmsteen, Uriah Heep or Stryper and playing the legendary Dynamo Open Air festival in Eindhoven.

Blut Aus Nord - Announce New Album & Details

Blut Aus Nord are proud to announce the coming of their new studio album. They present us Hallucinogen, to be officially out on October 11th via Debemur Morti Productions. The album was recorded and mixed at Earthsound Studio, and mastered by Bruno Varea at Upload Studio. Cover artwork, which was created by Dehn Sora, and track listing can be found down under.

Attic - Split With Guitarist, Replacement Confirmed

Line-up changes have happened recently inside the Attic camp. German heavy metallers confirmed that they have parted ways with guitarist Rob (II), who was part of the band since the beginning in 2011. Taking his spot as a permanent member will be Max Povver, who already replaced Rob on the band's recent tour with Marduk.

Sinister - Recording New Album, Reveal Title

Dutch death metal veterans Sinister are currently in studio, recording a new full length. 14th studio album and the follow-up of Syncretism will be titled Deformation Of The Holy Realm. Some of the songs titled have already been revealed: "Deformation Of The Holy Realm", "Scourged By Demons", "Apostles Of The Weak". Stay tuned for more.

Véhémence

Emerging in 2013, little is known about Véhémence's conception. A debut album, Assiégé was self-released digitally in February 2014, before being re-released by Aeternitas Tenebrarum Musicae Fundamentum in 2015. Appearing to be primarily a project helmed by Tulzcha, who is credited with all instruments short of vocals on the debut, the end result resembles the Second Wave of Black Metal with a medieval setting. As far as the first album is concerned, this was limited to the lyrical content.

Fjørt

The three piece post-hardcore outfit Fjort from Aachen released their critically acclaimed debut 12″ on True Love Entertainment in late 2012. The record shows a wide range of modern heavy guitar music - leading from postrockish delay parts to heavy and drum driven dark hardcore parts. Think of a more "emo" version of Jungbluth without the fast/d-beat-parts. The lyrics are mostly screamed in german.

Dimmu Borgir - To Co-Headline European Tour With Amorphis In 2020

Norwegian symphonic black metal unit Dimmu Borgir and Finland's Amorphis announce a co-headline tour over Europe. In January and February of 2020, the Scandinavian duo will visit 10 European cities and will bring along the US black metallers Wolves In The Throne Room as support. Couple of days ago, Sepultura have entered the studio to start recording their upcoming studio album. Recording sessions are taking place at Studio Gröndahl and Fascination Street Studios in Stockholm, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren. The album is expected to be released in early 2020. Stay tuned.

Stormwarrior - New Album Coming In November

This November, German power metal force Stormwarrior will unleash new studio album, entitled Norsemen. This album, which was recorded and produced by Stormwarrior at Thunderhall Studios, will be officially out on November 22nd through Massacre Records. It was mixed and mastered by Piet Sielck at Powerhouse Studio, Hamburg. Artwork was done by Andreas Marschall.
