Season's End

Deeply moving and heavy on grandiose atmosphere, soaring vocals and crushing riffs, Season's End's debut album The Failing Light elegantly demonstrates that you need not travel to Scandinavia to find perfectly crafted symphonic metal.

Having spent the last three years honing a sound that transcends the boundaries of gothic metal, this Hampshire based sextet have created an album that is both astoundingly fresh and incredibly mature; qualities that can be attributed to the band's refusal to resort to tired clichés. "We always strive to stay true to ourselves when writing," states lead vocalist Becki Clark, "we don't deliberately try and conform to any stereotypes or conventions; we make the music that we'd like to hear".

Fallujah - Dreamless

The Flesh Prevails marked an extraordinary change in Fallujah. Soaring leaps and bounds beyond the confines of genres and all preconceived assessments of the band's potential, Fallujah created a true masterpiece that fused atmosphere, heaviness, and technicality seamlessly. Had Fallujah crafted a successor that mimicked The Flesh Prevails perfectly, no one would have complained, but The Flesh Prevails itself proved that this band has no desire to rest on its laurels. Dreamless diverges enough from its predecessor to demonstrate the band's further development, but nevertheless lives up to the impossibly high standard that Fallujah set back in 2014.

Demenzia is a melodic death metal band that was formed in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2003 by the members of the black metal band Shadowland (Vladimir Bochev, Velizar Gordeev and Zlatomir Zlatkov). After some initial line-up changes the band started playing a lot of festival and club shows around Sofia city and released their first demo CD "a.d. 542″. In 2005 another demo called "Demenzia" followed and the band was already establishing themselves in the Bulgarian metal scene. The band supported the release with a lot of club shows and in 2007 the band was invited and appeared on two big international festivals. They were the Metal Healing Festival in Greece (where they shared the scene with world-famous bands like Rage, Septic Flesh, The Haunted and Destruction) and Metal Heads Mission Festival in Ukraine (whose headliners were other big names in metal music worldwide - Deicide, Vader, Suffocation, Immolation, Benediction).
