Windhand - Enter The Studio

Windhand are back at it after their massive Soma album. The Richmond doomsters have entered the studio with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High On Fire). The band is recording their anticipated third full-length album at Soundhouse Recording in Seattle, WA. The currently untitled album will see a fall release via Relapse Records and promises to be their most ambitious record to date. The album will contain nine songs including titles like "Two Urns", "Hyperion" and "Kingfisher".

Sepultura - 30th Anniversary North American Tour

Sepultura are celebrating their 30th anniversary with a tour in North America in May and June. The thrash legends released their first music 30 years ago in 1985, Bestial Devastation. Bassist Paulo Jr. remains the only original member in the band but there is also guitarist Andreas Kisser, who is in the band since 1987. Now they can't wait to travel in time through their history with their fans in the U.S. and Canada. Sepultura will join forces with the mighty Destruction and Arsis, as well as Boris The Blade, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Micawber, and Starkill as rotating openers. The Faceless - Announce New Guitarist

The Faceless has a new face in the band. The tech death metallers have announced the addition of guitarist Justin McKinney. So, Michael "Machine" Keene is not alone in the band anymore after all members deserted last year. Justin McKinney is the guitarist and songwriter of The Zenith Passage. Hellsaw - To Split Up

After going on an indefinite break back in 2012, Austrian black metallers Hellsaw have now announced that they will split up for good. It was the frontman Quentin "Aries" "Q. Woe" Nicollet who announced it via the band's Facebook page. However, fans will have a final opportunity to see the band live on the Black 'n' Thrash Inferno festival in Germany at the end of March.

Act Of Defiance - Former Megadeth Members Announce New Band Label, Teaser

After leaving Megadeth, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover announced that they had formed a new band together. This new band is now taking shape. The duo are now announcing their worldwide signing to Metal Blade Records for their new group Act Of Defiance, which is rounded out by Henry Derek (ex-Scar The Martyr) on vocals and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall) on bass. They are currently recording their debut offering with renowned producer Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall). Look for this album to be released sometime this summer. In the meantime, listen below to a sneak peek into a rough demo snippet of the track "Throwback."
