Coal Chamber - Reveal New Album Details And Teaser

Coal Chamber's return after a long hiatus is happening this year. They are releasing a new album called Rivals. The reactivated Los Angeles metallers have confirmed a May 19th North America release date for their new album via Napalm Records and May 25th for Europe and the rest of the world. Obscura - To Enter Studio In April, Launch Digital Tab Book

Progressive death metal masters Obscura have announced that they will enter Dreamsound Studios this April to begin recording drums for their anticipated new album and first full-length in over four years. The band will work once again with long time producer V. Santura (Cosmogenesis, Omnivium). The album will see a late 2015 release via Relapse Records and will be the first to feature new members drummer Sebastian Lanser and guitarist Tom "Fountainhead" Geldschläger.

Iron Maiden - Bruce Dickinson Undergoes Cancer Treatment

Iron Maiden surprised fans today with unexpected and worrying news. According to the band, just before Christmas, the band's legendary vocalist Bruce Dickinson visited his doctor for a routine check-up. This led to tests and biopsies which revealed a small cancerous tumour at the back of his tongue. A seven week course of chemotherapy and radiology treatment was completed yesterday. As the tumour was caught in the early stages, the prognosis is extremely good. Hopefully, Bruce Dickinson will win this battle and make a complete recovery.

Slayer - Releasing New Single For Record Store Day

The mighty Slayer are currently working hard on their new album. However, "When The Stillness Comes", the first new track from Slayer in nearly a year, will be available as part of Record Store Day on April 18th first. The song, accompanied by a live recording of "Black Magic", from the band's 1983 album Show No Mercy and recorded live at the 2014 Wacken Open Air Festival, will be available as a limited-edition (only 5000 copies worldwide), 7" vinyl picture disc exclusively at all participating independent record stores worldwide.
