California Deathfest 2015 - First Confirmed Bands

Not only will you be able to attend the massive Maryland Deathfest next year but also the California Deathfest. This 3-day event will take place from October 9-11, 2015 at the Oakland Metro Operahouse in Oakland, California. The organizers of Maryland Deathfest recently decided to give it a go with an event on the West Coast and the first batch of acts confirmed seems promising. Check it out below and beam.

Ephel Duath - Disbands

Ephel Duath are disbanding. It was the founder of the band Davide Tiso who announced it and made the decision to put the avantgarde band to rest. Ephel Duath is essentially his baby and he decided to let it go. The band's vocalist Karyn Crisis has her new project Gospel Of The Witches and Davide Tiso is also involved. So, at least you will be able to continue following his work there.

Battle Beast - Debut New Video

After sharing their song "Touch In The Night," Battle Beast just debuted a new video for another track. Today you can hear "Madness" from their third, upcoming new record Unholy Savior, set for release on January 9th (Europe), January 12th (UK) and January 27th (US) 2015 via Nuclear Blast. Massacre - Terry Butler And Ed Webb Leave, Cancel Tour

Things aren't looking good for Massacre. The Death Dta Tours has informed that due to several factors, the death metallers will not be taking part in the Symbolic 20th Anniversary European tour in late February/March 2015. Unfortunately, Massacre also had to cut their participation in the Swamp Leper Stomp '14 tour with DTA, Obituary and Rivers Of Nihil by one show. Bassist Terry Butler and vocalist Ed Webb issued joint statements indicating that they have left the band.

Psycroptic - New Video Released

This year marks the 30th anniversary of one of Judas Priest's best albums: Defenders Of The Faith. On March 9th 2015, a newly expanded 3CD version of the heavy metallers 1984 album Defenders Of The Faith will be unleashed. This special 30th Anniversary Edition includes the original ten-track album, fully remastered and a complete live recording from the Defenders tour, recorded at the Long Beach Arena in California on 5th May, 1984.
