Megadeth - Shawn Drover And Chris Broderick Quit The Band
This was sudden. As they prepare to enter the studio in January, Megadeth lose two of its members. Long-time drummer Shawn Drover, who has been in the band for the last ten years, and guitarist Christopher "Chris" Broderick, in the band since 2008, have both announced their departures from the group today in quick succession. Broderick cited "artistic and musical differences" and Drover will be pursuing his own musical interests. It's just founding members Mustaine and Ellefson in the band now.

Lord Dying - Debut New Song

Lock Up - Tomas Lindberg Leaves, Recruit Kevin Sharp
Lock Up have some good and bad news to share. First of all, they announced an important line-up change. Their vocalist since 2002, Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg of At The Gates fame, has left the band due to "schedule/logistic issues". However, the band has recruited Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth, Primate, Venomous Concept). The good news is that they will enter the studio in the coming months to record the follow-up album to Necropolis Transparent. The band is currently busy in writing mode and currently seeking a new label home and hope for an early summer release of the as yet untitled new album.

Cloudkicker - Announce New Release
When they just released Live With Intronaut, Cloudkicker have already announced a new release for December. The mastermind Ben Sharp is always very prolific and never seems to stop. Thou - Releasing Collaboration Album With The Body
There is a new collaboration on the horizon. American sludge/doom metallers Thou are joining forces with The Body again. After releasing the collaboration EP Released From Love earlier this year, the two bands will release a new, collaborative album called You, Whom I Have Always Hated. It's coming out on Thrill Jockey Records on January 27th, 2015. The release includes a version of "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails. The remainder was written collaboratively in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and then further refined on their 2014 tour together.
