American metallers Fu Manchu have entered the studio to record new material for the follow-up to Signs Of Infinite Power. The plan is to release a new album in May with a USA tour to follow, then the rest of the world. The new record will be out on their own At The Dojo Records.

Lacuna Coil are facing line-up changes as longtime guitarist Cris "Pizza" Migliore and drummer Cristiano "Criz" Mozzati have decided to leave the band. However, the Italians promise not to slow down as the release of their new album Broken Crown Halo approaches. Joining Lacuna Coil on the Revolver HCIHR tour will be drummer Ryan Folden. He performed live with the band on the majority of the 2012 and 2013 Dark Legacy and Dark Adrenaline tours.

The Exploited performed in Lisbon, Portugal, yesterday as part of their tour with Napalm Death and Hatebreed. Unfortunately, their singer Wattie Buchan fell ill and the band had to cut short their performance and leave the stage. Wattie was then hospitalized and the band later posted a message on Facebook apologizing for stopping the concert halfway through but "Wattie had taken very ill and couldn't continue." Today the band issued another message confirming that he will stay in hospital for at least a week and so the band will not perform on the remaining dates of this tour.
