Skinless - Add Second Guitarist

Reunited brutal death metal band Skinless have recently welcomed new guitarist Dave Matthews to their ranks. Matthews will join founding guitarist, Noah Carpenter for a dual guitar attack. Skinless reformed earlier this year under the original Progression Towards Evil lineup featuring Carpenter, Webber, bassist Joe Keyser and drummer Bob Beaulac. A new and improved Skinless will bring their sonic devastation to the stage this December in Denver, Colorado for the first annual Black Sky gala. Following that, Skinless will punish upstate New York with two already sold out shows at the Upstate Concert Hall. Additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Sepultura's new album with one of the longest titles of the year, The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart, came out yesterday in Europe via Nuclear Blast. The band will be streaming their new album until November 1st, 2013 at this location. The record comes out next Monday the 28th of October in the UK and on the 29th of October in North America.

Killer Be Killed - New Super Group Details Debut

Last year, Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy) announced he was forming a new project with Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Dave Elitch (ex-The Mars Volta). This new super group is now taking shape, it has been named Killer Be Killed and signed with Nuclear Blast Entertainment to release the group's debut record in 2014.

Warbringer - Stream Another New Song

Los Angeles thrash act Warbringer is releasing their 4th studio album IV: Empires Collapse in the coming days (and today in some countries) via Century Media Records. French metal bassist LSK (Hellsukkubus) has died at the age of 36. She was known as a member of French acts like Antaeus, Hell Militia, and Vorkreist and also Love Lies Bleeding and German black metallers Secrets Of The Moon. Vorkreist, Goat Torment and Secrets Of The Moon have all acknowledged this on their respective Facebook pages without giving away any details.

Metallica - Confirm Show In Antarctica

Recently, Metallica's drummer Lars Ulrich stated that the band would cross another frontier this December after their 3D movie. Now it's official that Metallica will play in Antarctica because they never played there and it is the only continent yet where the band never played live. Rigor Mortis - Final Album Coming In 2014

Thrashers Rigor Mortis have announced the release of their final album for next year. This is the first album with the original lineup since the self-titled Rigor Mortis album that was released in 1988 and will have the title of Slaves To The Grave. This will also be the last Rigor Mortis album and Mike Scaccia's swan song. Mike died last year after a heart attack, but his music will live on.
