Broken Hope - Unveil New Video

Broken Hope's newly released Omen Of Disease was their first album in more than ten years and the death metallers don't want to pass on the opportunity to be a bit bloody and gruesome again. In fact, the Chicago act just unleashed a brand new video for "The Flesh Mechanic". The song title is suggestive enough and the video directed by Corey Soria features a cameo from Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares and is full of gore. If you are up for it, you can watch it here.

Kauan - Streaming New Album Excerpt

Folk doom metallers Kauan have just premiered the opening 5 minutes of their crushing new opus titled Pirut (translated as "Devils"). You can get your first taste right here through the Soundcloud widget below. The daunting and beautiful new sounds of "Pirut I" serve as an introduction to the group's fifth full length which will be available for pre-order via Blood Music on October 23rd and is released on December 15th. Pirut is meant to be absorbed as a single 40-minute composition.

Killswitch Engage - Reveal New Video

After four years, Killswitch Engage released a new album this year called Disarm The Descent which saw the return of vocalist Jesse Leach to the fold. The band has been touring in support of the new record and today they have released their second video off the album and chose the song "Always". You can enjoy the video directed by Ian McFarland and Mike Pecci below. The band worked with McFarland and Pecci before on the video for "In Due Time".

Axel Rudi Pell - New Album Cover Art And Tracklist

German veterans Axel Rudi Pell unveiled today the cover artwork that will grace their new album Into The Storm. The cover is literally a ship facing a storm and you can check it out below. Into The Storm shall be released through SPV/Steamhammer in 2014 on January 17th in Germany, January 20th in Europe and on January 21st in the USA/Canada. The new music is still under wraps for now. All in due time.

Architects - In The Studio, New Label And Tour

UK's own Architects are currently in Gothenburg at Studio Fredman crafting their brand new album. The band just signed to Epitaph Records and also signed deals with UNFD in Australia and New Damage Records in Canada. The follow-up to Daybreaker is penciled for a spring 2014 release. In other news, Architects will be embarking on a European headline tour in support of their new record. These seem exciting times for the band.

Hate Eternal - Drummer Steps Down, Working On New Album

Hate Eternal have some good and bad news to share. The bad news is that drummer Jade Simonetto has left the band to further his education and post-music career. The good news is that the brutal death metallers are currently writing material for the follow-up to Phoenix Amongst The Ashes and are seven songs deep into the process. Hate Eternal is tentatively scheduled to begin recording in the Spring of 2014.

Progressive rock supergroup Transatlantic, featuring Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, Roine Stolt and Pete Trewavas, has recently announced the release of their brand new fourth studio album Kaleidoscope on the 27th of January 2014. Amaranthe - Andreas Solveström Steps Down, Replacement Announced

The Swedes Amaranthe are going through a line-up change. The band just announced that Andreas Solveström has chosen to step down as the growl vocalist in Amaranthe. His reasons are personal and the split is amicable and friendly, and not the result of any hard feelings. And since the band is not planning to slow down, they have welcomed a new member: Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson (Scarpoint), who filled in for Andy on their latest European and American tour.

Nightwish - Release Clip From 'Showtime, Storytime'
